Big Name Post

So I saw this on February's boards and thought it would be a great idea!  I, guilty myself, have noticed all the name polls/posts popping up lately! So I thought we could use this for all April Mommies to discuss/post/ask questions on names!  This was we don't have 100 different posts on it clogging our board!  Happy Posting Ladies!!!

How to play:
1) If you want discussion about your choices, you are free to do so.
2) If you want to comment on someone's choices, ditto.
3) If you simply want to state your names, awesomesauce.

So I will go first!

We are having a girl: Olivia Lauren or Chloe Ryan (or a different combo of the four names).

    @sloger : We are also having a girl and starting the same tradition! My mom and I have the same middle name and so will she: Marguerite.

    We are having a boy, Shiloh (pretty sure we're going with Allen after my DH) Carson. Our ultrasound tech said it sounded like a Spaghetti Western or Frontiersman name. Loved that!

    We have no idea if we're having a boy or girl or not, we couldn't tell at the anatomy scan yesterday.  Our next sono is on the 23rd and we'll find out then, hopefully. 

     

    For a girl: We picked out Maddalena Jessica. 

    For a boy: We're still waffling a little.  Our frontrunners are: Leo Thomas, Leo Michael, Aiden Leo, Xavier Daniel, Matthew Xavier.

    Of course, we are very open to your feedback on the boy names.  :)

    I think michaela Isabelle grieg is beautiful on its own. I don't think the third name is necessary. I have two middle names and find it kind of annoying.

    I like Matthew Xavier the best out of these :)

    We had Aiden Lee picked out for a boy from the beginning. Then when we found out that it was a boy, we changed to Alexander Lee. Hubby's ex went and ruined that name for us, so we are back to Aiden. It's not my #1 but it's literally the only boy name that we can agree on. I'm still fighting for Liam, Zayn, or Ezra. But it will probably be Aiden Lee!

    We are having a little girl and DH and I are having a very hard time agreeing on much of anything. Our current list of "names neither of us hate" is: 
    • Morgan
    • Allison (Allie)
    • Lila(h)
    • Molly
    • Kate
    I refuse to give up hope on Rosalie (Rosie). Although, I may turn my fight towards Rosalie as a MN. 

    Opinions and suggestions welcome! :D

    Big brother is Carter.

    We are *most likely* doing either Charlize Leda L. (we'll call her Charlie) or Fiona Lucile L. Leda (pronounced Lay-dah) is DH's grandma's name and Lucile is my grandma's. My #1 is Eden but he doesn't love it and his #1 is Josephine and I don't love it. Suggestions are welcome (or vote in my siggy).

    After finding out we were having a boy all the names we had picked DH changed his mind on. So we think we have it picked. I put a time frame that my DH has 8 days left to change it and that is it... Colton Lee ... Cole for short....

    We are having a girl and are 99% set on one of the only names that DH and I can both agree that we like and can live with naming her! Alaina Hope (Allie/Ally) as a nn. I have mentioned in a few other post, the name Hope has significant meaning to us.

    We already have an almost 2 year old DS named Jackson (Jack) Rayce - middle name is after my grandfather. We also had an extremely hard time deciding a a boy name that we both liked, and we did not realize how popular it would become! We did not know of any Jackson's in our area when we chose the name. Once we found out how popular it was and was growing we had already set and loved the name so we stuck with it.

    Can I mourn the girl names that we don't get to use? Girl names were SO EASY for us to choose. We both loved Alice and Juniper, not necessarily together. So sad I won't get to have a daughter. Girl names are so fun!

    Since we're having boy #4, we're a bit tired of boy names. Nothing seems exciting.

    DH wont discuss names until the babies are pretty much coming, but on my list for the boys:

    Henry & Harrison (Harry for short); Cameron & Marcus; Jeremy & Jake; Zachery & Brandon

    Or a combo within

    If I were having girls: Charlotte, Scarlet, Violet, Marianne

     

     POS+April 2009-M/c May 2009, POS+July 2009-M/c Aug 2009, POS+ Novemeber 2009 -Baby Boy Charlie DOB 07/06/2010, POS+July 2011-M/c and D&C Aug 2011, POS+Dec 2011 -Baby Boy Ethan DOB 07/27/2012, POS+Aug 2013-TWIN BOYS! Jack and Miles born March 23rd 2014!!

    We trapped ourselves a bit by naming our first two "G" names.  Now I'm getting tons of pressure from friends and family to name our third girl with a "G" but am struggling...

    Without knowing your girls names, here are some girly G names I love!

    Having a baby boy -- most likely will be named Jack Alexander. Thoughts? Big sister is Anna Alexandra. (Alex/Alexandra are family names).
