    Yes! Lets thread jack this post and talk about Harry Potter instead of the AWing OP.

    I tried to convince DH to let me use the middle name Hermione for one of our daughters, but he wouldn't go for it. He did let me use Lily though. :)

    I've always thought it was interesting that Jo Rowling is obviously a name nerd with such fantastic and well researched names in her books, but her own children have such normal names - David, Jessica, and Mackenzie. Even her author pseudonym Robert Galbraith means 'famous stranger', I don't think she ever uses a name without fully researching its history and meaning.

    I really wanted to love Ginny but she ended up a bit of a Mary Sue. Maybe if more time had been focused on her through the books I would have liked her more. Or maybe I've just been reading too much fanfiction lately where Ginny isn't well depicted.

    Im totally going to try to convince bf to let me use viktor as a middle name. Hes not into harry potter enough to know viktor krum.

    I know what you mean about ginny. For so long she was just rons little sister then all the sudden half blood prince shes a main charecter im supposed to love? No. I wanted harry with hermione. She was ALWAYS there and never left.

    And i just fell in love with you a little bot finding out you love fanfiction too!

    When I was originally reading the series I was all for Ron/Hermione and Harry/Ginny, but after seeing so many fanfiction stories point out Ron and Ginny's faults I can definitely understand why people like Harry/Hermione better. Personally, I'm into the crack fics that are well written and take a ridiculous scenario or pairing but make it work and seem realistic (Hermione/Tom Riddle, Hermione/Draco Malfoy, Hermione/Loki, etc).

    Btw ive read the thief of time! I loved it, i love time travel fics they are so fun ive always wanted to write one

    If you like harry potter fan fiction you have to have to check out the james potter books by g norman lippet (I think that's his name).  The first three are free on good reads and the most recent one is free on his website.

    You know I think I have these on my kindle but never got around to reading them. These are the ones where they made a movie based on the fics right? I usually prefer Hermione-centric stories, but I'll give this a read. Thanks for the recommendation. :)
