Yesterday she decided to download a picture from our special website and post it as her profile picture on facebook. On top of the fact that she used a picture without our permission it was a picture we used on our Christmas cards that have not gone out yet. I sent her a message asking her to take it down and explaining that the rules for his pictures have not changed and I really didn't want that particular one posted because it was on our Christmas cards. She got all bent out of shape and all of a sudden became a victim in all of this. If it wouldn't cause more problems I would change the place we upload pictures and "forget to give her the link."
Things were going so good with us and then she pulls this crap. I knew her good behavior wouldn't last long. *sigh*

We have this exact rule with sharing pictures online. My stepmother announced my pregnancy on Facebook before I told some people so that is how they found out. We made it very clear after that about others sharing our information. Last week we posted the first and only (so far) pic of LO on Facebook of him wih Santa. My stepmom immediately asks if she could share it so we said yes. Then she posted "here is the only picture I am allowed to share of my grandson". If you are going to be rude and passive aggressive you will loose your rights lady!! Ugh!!

@AprilRaine, what is he 2? This makes me love my FIL so much more. MIL is a royal bitch but FIL is golden.

@LAMuehlen, I had a friend pull something similar. A couple months ago I posted something about being exhausted (S was a month old). She pulled out that old "sleep when they sleep" card. I kindly explained, that's hard to do when you're running back and forth from doctor's appointments during the day. This was during the height of S's health problems. She was all " well I did it, and again with two, 2 years later". I told her to F off and haven't spoken since. This is a girl who was supposed to be one of my best friends. We were MOH in each other's weddings. The sad thing is, I don't actually miss her "friendship". I guess I should have done that a long time ago.

@crazed178, you could always notify FB that it's used without your consent. Of course, that would be a really bitchy thing to do.

@lisarene77 i met this girl through her husband whom im friends with, him and bf have been friends over a decade and her h is a great guy i really dont understand why he puts up with her.

@lisarene77, right!!!!!!? the ILs haven't always been so rude & disrespectful. This is a fairly recent development in the last 5-6ish months. I have no clue what the deal is but even my almost-2-year-old has better manners at this point. I'm having anxiety over the upcoming holiday because of them which is just not right!

I really wish I could lose weight as easy as it is for some people. I have always had weight problems and I was overweight when I became pregnant with LO. Fortunately, I didn't gain much weight during pregnancy but it is still going to be a major struggle for me. I hate working out and I hate watching what I eat. And when I do that, it doesn't seem to work for me. So I have no idea what to do. Okay. Rant Over.

And yes, I have one of those friends. She was my MOH. I love her and can't wait to see her this weekend (We are going back east again) but sometimes, I think, wow she is such a bitoach!

My dad refused to attend my wedding because I had it in a different church and called my special day..and I quote " nothing but a fornication party"...and that I was "walking down the aisle for nothing". I'm pissed! So we are spending Christmas at ILS this year.. Its their first Christmas in Canada and we've spent the past 3 with mine. H's nan, uncle and younger cousin will be coming over from England for 2 weeks as well, so they will be staying with them. SILlives about 20 mins from them so we were planning on sleeping at their house because MIL/FIL live in a small townhouse. WELL, I was just told about 15 minutes ago that SIL and her boyfriend and dog are moving into their house.. BEFORE Christmas!

So let me sum this up. In their small townhouse, for about 3 nights, there will be MIL,FIL,SIL1,SIL2, boyfriend, H's nan, his uncle, cousin, me, H, DS, LO, 2 dogs, 3 cats.

They don't live right near one. And a hotel close to where SIL lives now is pretty pricey. They live in a huge tourist attraction. It being around Christmas I'm going to assume it won't be cheap. :-<
