Pretty Bummed

in 1st Trimester
Well I just found out that both my husband and I are carriers for CF.  I'm a little pissed I didn't get tested for this when I had my IUD removed!   I guess we are having bad luck so far.......ugh!  Anyone else dealt with this?

    No experience but I just wanted to say I'm sorry. Are you going to see a genetic counselor?

    I'm sorry, but carriers doesn't automatically doom your offspring. Best of luck to you moving forward.

    Yep we are on 1/02.  Just scarey to think about, odds are in our favor still.   Just needed to vent!  Not much we can do about it at this point

    Oh my gosh, how stressful!  Like you said, the odds are certainly in your favor.  Even if the baby does have CF, they have come so far with treatment options that he/she can lead a normal life.  Praying everything is okay! 
    On our way to baby#2!  Praying for a healthy and happy delivery next June!
