Maternity underwear?!

Anyone use them? Are they worth the money or even different then normal grannie panties? I am so annoyed by my underwear lately. They keep slipping off my bump and I even went a size up. I never had this problem with dds pregnancy. Lol. Just wondering your opinions before I spend money on them.

  • Thanks for the input ladies! I can't stand the feeling of having anything under the bump its more comfortable over.
  • Just bikini cotton undies for me.

  • Everyone said it was a waste of money with K so I didn't buy them and I was so miserable.  Then I went and bought a couple of packs and that's all I wore in my last couple of months.  Regular panties just don't stretch enough or if you buy them bigger then they keep falling off.  They are ridiculously expensive, but totally worth it.

  • I wear my VS underwear. I'm hoping they stretch out so I can finally buy new ones after baby is here ;)

I'm wearing VS Lacy thongs still. They ride pretty low

I wore these when I was pregnant with DD. They were great and comfortable, however they did stretch out since they're OS fits all, so they didnt fit properly after she was born.

  • I had to get high rise motherhood in a Sz large (I'm a medium) bc the meds were too tight. The lg is comfy but they fall down. No happy medium. And they can fold up for tummy coverage or down for under belly. I got them 2 and 4 yrs ago.
  • I have VS boy shorts, not PINK version, regular. They have maybe 1/2" lace on the top and leg openings, so they are stretchy. I wish I had gone up a size, but I didn't. They are fine, but probably would have covered more if I had! They go below the bump and are what I normally wear now. I couldn't find them online but did in store for 5/$26.

  • My favorite have been the Gap maternity bikini underwear, I love them! They are under the bump but they don't annoy me like my VS underwear are. My favorite over the bump are Thyme, the line sold by Babies R Us.

  • I don't understand the concept of maternity underwear but maybe that's because all my underwear is low rise anyways? I do need some new bras really badly though.
