  I don't think it's necessary, unless maybe you have a c section. Your uterus is going to shrink down pretty quickly on it's own and the rest just takes a little time.

  I wore one for about 2 seconds. It's bulky and annoying, and doesn't seem to do much. I had a vaginal birth and I really think the breastfeeding is doing all the work on shrinking my uterus.

  I ordered the belly bandit which is different than a belly band. The belly bandit is a rigid piece of fabric that is kind of like a girdle. I have read really great reviews and have heard it works really well for some people. I have read though that it isn't comfortable. Unless I have a c-section, i don't care if it's comfortable as long as it works!

  I used the Belly Bandit. It was too big within a matter of a couple of days.
