I'm booored!! Entertain me! :)

Today is sooo boring : I'm working on my thesis, but doing all the minor changes that need to be done before I can hand in this paper (rephrasing some paragraphes, adding details in the footnotes, etc. Definitively the most boring part of research IMO...) ANYWAY. Since the house is super clean, all the laundry is done and dinner is cooking in the slowcooker, I have no reason to take breaks right now... So entertain me! What are you doing today? What's for dinner? Anything exciting coming up this week? :)

    Oh I'm at work!! I work in a group home for mentally disabled adults. Pretty boring over here everyone is relaxing. I'm defrosting some shrimp for dinner tonight. Will be here till midnight *sigh* haha

    I'm having a pretty relaxing day, much needed after work lately. Currently I'm waiting for the donuts to rise (trying out this recipe from our Christmas baking post - https://themerrythought.com/recipes/baked-doughnuts/) and waiting for DH to get home from hunting. Nothing on t.v. is catching my eye, so I'm reading Game of Thrones

    Yuck, that sounds like no fun. But good for you for having all your housework done and dinner done :)

    We are on our way home from an out of town wedding. So I haven't made plans for dinner. This week I'm excited we are getting the measurements finalized for our carpet and painting the nursery and our living room in prep of the new carpet.

    @miliska tonight I am marinating them Ina McCormick seasoning of garlic herb an wine an I will cut up lemon slices lay them in a baking sheet then lay the shrimp on top then pour melted butter an garlic on it. Bake it on 350 for like 15 mins

    I am really excited right now! I just got back from our local baby consignment store... I got a Moby wrap for $20 and a JJ Cole car seat cover (the shower cap looking one) in tan for $5!  Woo.   I also took advantage of the Snuga Monkey deal Target had a couple weeks ago, and that made me happy. Any one else gotten any good deals lately...

    Also, I am especially happy about these deals because I just splurged on the Pottery Barn crib I really wanted that was on the pricey end.

    Haven't started any Christmas baking yet, BUT I JUST SENT MY THESIS TO MY ADVISOR FOR HIS FINAL APPROVAL! Wouhou! I'm so close to finish! :)
