What is something unique or interesting about you? I am a certified body piercer it helped pay the bills when I went back to school for my BSN a few years ago.
Anything else you want to share? Mh and I own a small chicken farm and it is taking over our lives to where we only eat chicken and eggs from our farm. We are way into it and raise some of the most spoiled girls around.

Something unique or interesting? Um... I have lived in Texas my entire life... I met DH online... I'm pretty boring
Anything else? For the last couple of months I feel like I have been unable to make minor decisions. I spent hours the other day trying to decide on a glider for the nursery and colors for the nursery (gray, yellow and teal, or gray, yellow and purple? Ahh) I'm so glad I don't have a job where I have to make major decisions all day!

What do you do for a living? Stay at home mom, and very casual crochet toy/clothes/stuff seller off Facebook.
What does DH do? Software Engineer. If he messes up his code, he costs the world billions of dollars lol.
What is something unique or interesting about you? I taught myself how to crochet last summer and picked it up pretty quick. I can pick up just about any new crafting skill fairly easily. And like someone else said, I can name pretty much every dog breed I see lol.
Anything else you want to share? It's kindof weird being a SAHM since I worked my ass off all my life. I had 3 jobs at once in college and almost died from exhaustion. I was a dog groomer right before I became a SAHM and a shelter worker before that. I found my passion in shelter work but haven't found the time or the job openings to go back. When the kids are old enough, I plan to volunteer with them.

What is something unique or interesting about you? I play with tape constantly. Like buy it at costco, three dispensers in the house, constantly. I have tape on my finger now.

What is something unique or interesting about you? My husband and I got married after knowing each other/ dating for 5 months. Everyone thought we were crazy but I've been in serious relationships for 3 years and never wanted to pull the trigger. I met him and just knew.
Anything else you want to share? In line with the above. We wound up getting pregnant about a month after we got married. We weren't trying but weren't preventing. I guess we were just blessed it happened so easily. After a slight panic attack I couldn't be more thrilled!

I broke my jaw when I was eleven and have a metal plate in it now also I would love to become a dentist alongside my DH but really don't have the patience to go to school for another 5 or so years. I have 90+ College credits and still no degree... Grr
Anything else you want to share? I am really glad I fund this board. It has saved me from calling the doctor and waiting for hours to be seen for silly little things.

What is something unique or interesting about you? Some of my friends in college called me Scorch because it was easier to say than my last name, but sounds kinda close. And I grew up in Alaska.
Oh, and I love Ultimate Frisbee and was playing a LOT, but then I broke my collarbone playing...when I was 7wks preggo. Scary, but didn't need surgery and I take pain well so didn't need anything but Tylenol. Got to play one/two more games after it was healed before I had to be responsible and stop.
Anything else you want to share? I kind of have bursts of posting/lurking and don't always get back to threads quickly b/c I'd rather be hanging out with my husband or critters when I'm not at work...so don't think I'm just ignoring you or don't want to participate!

What do you do for a living: I am an accounting clerk & I oversee payroll for our local waste & recycling company.
What does DH do: DH works as a Purchasing Agent for a commercial heating & A/C company & he's also a photographer.
What is something unique or interesting about you: Hmmm . . . What I find to be unique about myself is that because I had my daughter at such a young age (barely 17) I became seriously determined to break the stereo type of teenage single mothers. With the help if my loving & supportive parents I was able to not only finish high school early but go to college too. I also worked a part-time job & was a very active mother in my daughters life the entire time. It wasn't easy & I missed out on many experiences most girls have had in the last 13 years but it was worth it. I'm married, have a good job, own a home, & am happy as well as proud of where my life is at. Now I'm in a better place than many of the people I grew up with that didn't have a baby in high school.
Anything else you want to share: Just like everyone else here on the bump, I'm so excited to be having this baby & cannot wait to experience this me chapter in life. Raising a baby at 17 & now doing it again 13 years later is going to be so different but I know it's going to be great.
