What are you getting your DH...

for Christmas if you celebrate and exchange presents? I go my DH a chainsaw because that's what he really wanted but I want to get him something small too but I can't think of anything. I'm looking for inspiration. It's Friday night, DH doesn't get home for another 2 hours and I am bored!

    We used to buy each other gifts but, in the past few years we've just done one big together purchase like a tv or a vacation. But, now that we have DS we just get him stuff :)

    We just get each other one big gift but he cheated and got me something else little and I am OCD about this stuff. It has to be even, haha! Please we exchanged our presents yesterday so I want him to have something on Christmas.

    I got him a bunch of jeans, a sweater, and 2 packs of socks. 


    He got me a $200 hair dryer, the matching $125 curling iron (I immediately chopped all my hair off after I tried it once) and a bunch of other shit from Sephora that I don't need, and by "he" I mean, I ordered all the shit I wanted and said "LOOK AT ALL MY PRESENTS!!" when they got here, like a month ago? 

    Christmas is fun. 


    I'm like really? Who fucking needs a $125 curling iron?! A professional stylist maybe? Not a fucking SAHM.

    We decided we bought each other the gift of IVF. B-)
    Since we are 100% OOP we decided not to exchange gifts. It has been nice not stressing on what to buy him.

    DH really wanted a garage heater, so I dragged my ass out of bed at 6am Black Friday and headed to Fleet Farm for one. I also bought him some new stemless wine glasses. He's well-rounded like that :x

    Two DDs 10/08 and 08/10, no primary IF
    TTC #3 since 10/2011 - dx unexplained/weak ovulation
     3 BFN clomid + TI cycles, 5 BFN clomid/gonal f IUIs, 1 mmc IUI
    2/19/2014 IVF #1 Unexpected low E2 (oversuppressed) -> increased to max doses = 3 or 4 follicles, converting to IUI
    BFFP Saw 1 beautiful heartbeat at 6w6d, follow up u/s at 9w showed mmc. Eff this.
    NTNP 5/2014-9/2014, OPKs and TI 10/2014 - 1/2015. 
    RPL testing all normal, AFC, AMH, and FSH all normal. 
    IVF 1.2 1/22/2014 natural cycle start, AFC 28, 300 gonal f/150menopur. 
    ER 2/3/15 14R 8M 3F w/ICSI Day 5 transfer on 2/8/15 of one "Grade A+" blast and have TWO frosties!

    I got mine a PS4. Been sitting in house for months and he still doesn't know. I do this 13 days of Christmas thing for him too, so those are normally what would be his presents/ stocking stuffers and he really likes getting stuff for half a month than blowing through everything in one day so it is fun. Like day one I got a mini saxophone (he plays Barry and alto) do DD can play with him and start learning instruments, and like 12 days is a calendar I got free off shutterfly with pictures from last couple year and like day six is a six pack of hot cocoa with rainbow sprinkles (his favorite cake it fingertips) and day nine is glass bottles of root beer where I used pipe cleaners to make antlers and google eyes glued on and the front one has red nose (8 tiny reindeers and Rudolf). So nothing expensive for the 12 days and then I individually will wrap the remote and game and console and all so it takes him longer to get the whole system.
    January 2007- Stop BCP! Let's DO this!
    June 2010- MFI. BS. IVF! Ectopic. BS. image

    November 2010- FAILED FET! BS!
    January 2011- BFP FET! TWINS!     February 2011- lost twin. BS. image

    No clue. Last year we didn't exchange gifts and just did one big gift and two very small things for DS and Christmas morning was so anticlimactic. So this year we are doing gifts.

    I can't decide what to get. DH has wanted a rotisserie and I found one that the pieces nestle into each other so it wouldn't take up a lot of room so I might get that. Past that, I don't know. Maybe some under armor. I've been wearing it for years and years, since before DH and I met, but he finally recently became interested in it do I might get him some.

    Even though I'm not hopeful for this cycle, my test date would "only" be about 2 weeks before Christmas. If I could manage to keep my mouth shut, I would love to surprise him with that on Christmas morning. That would be an awesome gift!

    I am hoping for a BFP Tuesday or Wednesday but I'm not getting my hopes up. My DD ended up deciding. She got him a straw cup (that's all we use anymore) with deer on it and a hat with a deer on it. She did pretty darn good!
