My FFFC is that I don't congratulate the girls who I'm "friends" with on FB that are single when they announce they are pregnant. I shake my head at all the "I'm so happy for you" responses and move on. Call me judgmental - I just have my personal views and I don't think getting pregnant with a guy you have dated shortly or barely know calls for a "congratulations".

I agree with this. I also shook my head when some friends of ours who had been married a month announced their pregnancy. They only dated a few months. What is the rush? Get to know each other as husband and wife. Babies are no joke.

  • I'm just full of them today. If I knew I'd remember it, I'd save one for next week.

Last year I bought my parents two baby's 1st Christmas ornaments (for 2013) with the girls' intended names on them - this was how we shared the news of their sexes. I told them they could keep the ornaments for their tree.

At Thanksgiving I told them I changed my mind and asked for them back.

    Edited for typo

Superbness! I just LOL and woke the baby.

  • I'm late to the game but mine is not that great anyways. I pretended like LO was extra fussy so I didn't have to cook supper. But in my defence she was cranky, however I am sure I could of pulled something off.

I think I should get a night off once in awhile.

My FFFC I love formula! It makes me less nervous to know she is getting nutrients and the right amount of food. I still want her to have some breast milk until 1 for the immunity but I used to worry so much about everything I ate and didn't eat. I would stress about not enough food or eating unhealthy stuff and now that she gets two bottles of formula a day I am so much more relaxed and she seems to be so much happier with a full tummy.

Same here. Without formula, S would be severely malnourished. It freaks me out to think about if S has been born in times before formula or in like a 3rd world country or something. I used to stress so much those first couple weeks about how much she was eating, etc etc, and even though I still kind of keep track of her intake, I know if she's ever hungry all I need to do is grab a bottle and fill it up.

Add me to the formula train. I am so glad I am using some now. Today for example me and H got hung up all afternoon and my mom was still able to feed her. I also have started dieting and the weight is finally coming off. I wasn't one of those woman who got super slim BFing. I still nurse ok MOTN, morning and mid afternoon(sometimes) and pump in the evening if I feel like it. I really want to make it to a year but just adding the 1-2 formula feeds have made her happier and some stress of making enough milk gone so therefore a more relaxed happy mom.

Eta- posted before I was done.
