What do you think of these boy names?

Just looking for general comments-- do you like/ dislike?

Salvador/ Salvatore (not sure which spelling we'd use.  I am Italian and H is Spanish so it's a real toss up)

Angelo

Marcello (pron Mar-chel-oh)

Rafael (Raffy for short?)

Carlo (would probably use Charlie as a nn)

Roberto (would probably use Bobby as a nn)

    I don't really like any of them maybe it's because i'm not really into hispanic/italian names.

    And I agree on this. :) I almost had a nephew with Rafael/Raphael for either his FN or MN but sis and BIL changed their minds for some reason.

    I've always thought Salvatore was a very handsome & dignified name. With the NN Sal I really like it.

    I like Salvador, Rafael & Carlo. Have you considered Rafa as a nickname? I have a friend who goes by this, and I prefer it to Raffy.

    Rafael and Roberto are my favourites. The others are ok, except Salvatore, which I dislike since I'm not into religion based names.

    Rafael (Raffy for short?) I really like Rafael, strongly dislike Raffy. In addition to the singer it makes me think of arts & craft time: raffia.

    Carlo (would probably use Charlie as a nn) Love, I would be so disappointed to hear Carlo was going by Charlie, it doesn't need a NN at all.

    Roberto (would probably use Bobby as a nn) Nice, would be a great MN. I still know a lot of little Bobbys.
