If LO pees through his clothes to his sheets, I don't change the sheets before I put him back to bed. I just put a blanket over the wet spot and hope for the best.
I love it that lo smiles a lot...but when he is all smiles at daddy in the am it pisses me off! Dude..I was up with u all 6 times..why do I get the crabby ass??
My FFFC: I'm taking the year off from getting my body in shape. This is my last baby and the last time I'm going to be breastfeeding (read: the last time I can have McDonald's for breakfast as often as I do). Every time I try to modify my diet and/or exercise it kills my supply, which I think is more stress related than actual diet/exercise related, so I have decided just to be fat and happy until Ty weans.
O and a more fun one...yesterday I wore Spanx to look cute in skinny jeans for the company cornhole tournament (we got 3rd place...I was pissed) and I couldn't stop farting. Spanx farts crack me up, so I was giggling to myself all day
@wasnotwas
I've been looking at buying some Spanx (or something similar).
worth it?
I love Spanx. When I wear them I swear I shrink 2 sizes...I have a full, under bra to mid-thigh, and a thong version. Just don't put them on or take them off in front of your H...nothing sexy about them
I can't remember the last time I washed my hair. Saturday, maybe?
haha this was practically my exact FFFC on Parenting I've got a girl's night tonight and I'm gonna wash and style my hair, I'm sure MH will be suspicious
Last night G hit me in the face with a hard book at bedtime and it really hurt. I used it then as a pathetic excuse to not work out because my head hurt. Then I ate 3 pieces of sourdough bread and half a bottle of wine instead. I then proceeded to have a dream where DH and I bought a new house because there was a refrigerated pantry section that was completely full of break and bake cookie dough and a climate controlled wine case which was also full, and we could keep it all. So we bought the house based on that and I didn't even know if there were bedrooms or what country it was in for chrissake. So my FFFC is that not only am I living the fat kid lifestyle, I am literally dreaming it too.
MH and I made a pack to only drink on the weekends, I only made it to Wednesday. I hate that he can stick to his guns with everything. I only want one pumpkin ale a night but apparently that's "not healthy." I also just put extra sugar on my cinnamon raisin toast because its Friday.
Mine is stupid but I kind of feel guilty. I'm not buying for my sisters three youngest for christmas because they don't care who the presents are from as long as they have toys. It's also unfair that my sister has 6 kids. It would cost a fortune to get every single kid a half decent gift and I have another nephew, a kid sister, and a kid BIL, oh and ya know my own child. If she says anything negative I'm going to swat her in the twat. I resent my sister having so many kids. Not because to her 6 it was so hard for me to have 1, but she has so many kids my mom is grandma'd out. She loves DD but doesn't have excitement that MIL has over her and it sucks. I guess that's a two for one.
I totally forgot to give O a bath Wednesday night. And we're already on an every other night bathing schedule, so she went several days without a bath.
Meh. William gets a bath roughly twice a week, unless there's a poop or spit up incident. Everyone always comments how good he smells lol, so I figure it's fine. Bath time is NOT a relaxing time in our house. It's more like flail and kick all the water out of the tub, onto the counter and kitchen appliances time.
Re: yesterday's UO. There were over 400 people at my wedding. I have no idea how much it cost, but I'm sure it was damn expensive. My dad's rule was I was allowed to invite whoever I wanted and he could invite whoever he wanted. I think DH and I had 40 freinds at the wedding and the rest was family and our parents friends. I'm so happy i didn't fight my dad (since I originally wanted a smaller wedding), because people gave cash and we had a down payment for our house by the end of the night.
My FFFC is that I left LO in his pjs all day and night yesterday. I normally change him during the day and put new Pjs on every night. Not last night! He didn't spit up yesterday and it was cold here, so he stayed in them. Sucky mom here lol
Well I guess I really suck we stay in footed pjs all day most days.
I didn't participate in the secret Santa because I got weirded out about strangers sending me stuff. Now whenever I look in the thread where you all are showing off your goods I'm all jealous..

We generally only bath twice a week. DD just doesn't get that dirty.
We only bathe once or twice a week..... now I feel like a really bad mom! Her skin gets SO dry and sensitive though.
Another one for bathing my LO every night but I only shower every other day. I SAHM so it's not like I'm doing much to work up a stink haha
My confession is that I'm jealous of my sister and the relationship she has with our grandma. My sister lives with her and spends all this time with her but getting a baby ready for freezing weather and driving over there is a lot of work.
As well-informed as I am on the dangers of putting baby's carseat I'm top of the shopping cart (which I NEVER did with Lucy), I did it with Wyatt yesterday out of sheer necessity. It was amazingly convenient, he didn't gripe at all, and I got a FULL cart of groceries. I plan to keep doing it for the next few weeks until he can sit up a bit better in the cart itself.
Here's another: I really worry that Wyatt will be short. I don't want him to be. I am short and was teased constantly so I can only imagine it would be worse for a boy. He is between the 10th and 25th for height currently, at 25.5 inches, 6 months old.

We do this with J. When we do, one of us is always right with her and her car seat snaps onto the cart.
I just told a co-worker that the donut I was eating was the same one from before and he complimented me on my will power to eat it so slowly (he was really sincere). In reality... it is a new donut...

I had the same worry while I was pregnant. I'm only half worried about it right now because up until his four month check up, LO was in the 97th percentile for height. At four months, he dropped to the 50th percentile.
All in all, it really doesn't look good for my LO though. I'm 5'5", which is average for a female, but DH is 5'6". My mom is 5'0" and DH's mom is 4'11" (Mickey Mouse height - that's not an insult, she really is Mickey Mouse). The only hope is that LO gets some of my dad's height (6'1").
DH was 5'2" when he was a junior in high school!! Poor guy...
Anyway, fingers crossed that both our LO's can achieve at least average height.
Ours does too and honestly, it felt really secure to me. Probably a good deal safer than the grocery Jenga I used to play around his huge car seat when it would sit in the big part of the buggy.
Lily and I were gone 10 days over the holiday. H couldn't come with us. When I get home at night from work, she gives me open mouth baby kisses on the check and lets me give her a kiss. She even grabs my face and pulls it towards her. She never does this for H. I try to comfort him when he seems hurt by it, but I'm secretly eating up and want to tell him that the baby loves me more.
I thought of another. I like the smell and price of our store-brand version of J&J's yellow bottle soap...so I bought it yesterday. 1.68 for a huge thing of it. I've been using Mustela, California Baby, etc.
I'm not sure what's happened to me really. It seems my hippy earth mama side is just fighting a losing battle with my tired, cheap azz, yummy-smell loving side.
My subconscious doesn't trust you all. As many of you have, I had a bump dream a few days ago. We were all headed somewhere on a big, new Dreamliner plane and I was in charge of bring CL8's baby on board. Then wasnotwas got on with her baby and violet with her's and nobody brought my LO. So I had to get off the plane to get him and found out he didn't have the proper passport and we couldn't go then. Sad!!!
The odds of me doing a Christmas card this year seem to be diminishing by the minute.
If I end up pulling myself together and actually having cards printed, the odds of them being sent out in time are closing in on zero.
Maybe I'll do a New Year's card...and stuff the envelopes wrong.
@wasnotwas posted about the correct way to stuff envelopes literally hours after I put mine in the mail. They are all facing the wrong way i'm sure my improper friends won't notice. Who knew
you say as I am eating crackers and water for lunch while wearing soft pants and a workout shirt with my greasy hair in a pony tail and no makeup...it takes a lot of work to not try this hard!

Um, not so much. Jogging is hard.
Didn't know where else to post it without starting a new thread.

I just want both kids to get my husband's genes. Lucy is already 36 inches at 2 1/2!! Lucky girl.
