Say you really dislike your Christmas cards.

Suck it up and send them anyway, or get different ones?

We're talking photo cards, btw.

  • How much did I spend and why don't I like them?

  • I spent close to $50 with tax and shipping.

I like the design of the card itself, but I should have ordered a bigger size and I'm not thrilled with the photo placement I chose.  It just looks wrong somehow.

I'm probably overthinking but I've always had a thing for graphic design and it really just looks wrong.

  • I would get new ones if I had time...I'm really picky about my cards though. Shutterfly and Tiny Prints have satisfaction guarantees so you can send them back if you don't like them if that's where yours came from. I didn't like DD2s first birth announcements so I did switch those out.
  • Has anyone else seen it?  If pic placement is the only possible problem, I'd have a honest friend give an opinion.

Tough call. You may be overthinking, but if they don't feel right and you can afford it, you could reorder.

  • I would probably just buy new ones and toss the original ones if they were really really bugging me.

If I was feeling lazy or out of time, I would just convince myself that I am probably the only one who would notice the "problem."  But, not believing myself, I would wait until the last minute, do nothing, and then realize I still didn't like them and would end up not sending anything at all.  Which brings me back to where I would probably just get new ones.

  • Last year my picture card came out really dark. Time was running out so I sent them anyway but they bugged me. If you used the super cute family pics you posted here, I don't see how you can go wrong.

Nobody cares that much about anybody else's Christmas card. Just send them. All anyone will notice is the picture.

Ok, this is exactly what I needed to hear. Thank you! I'm going to roll with the cards I've got.
