I have 2.....on my upper back I have butterflies for each of the kids....going down my ankle I have the Chinese symbols for love, spirit, family.....and once I realized how popular this was I had a branch with cherry blossoms to go around the symbols and down the side of my foot to my toes......

One right behind my left shoulder. Thats all for me..I was 18 when I got it. Dont have a picture right now..its kind of like a stenciled hearts with a paw print inside.

The pic is symbol for Lillith on my right wrist to remind me I am strong. The other I can't get pic it is on back hip almost the upper butt cheek. It is little heart with purple flame

I have 2. Both were done when I was less than 20 years old and I was completely inebriated when I got them. They were cheap and you can tell. Ugh, mistakes of youth! Haha!

I have two but don't have any photos on my ipad. The first one is a tramp stamp that I am looking into having removed. It's a tribal heart design. Has no meaning and was a stupid decision when I was a teenager. The second is a butterfly with shooting stars on my ankle. This one doesn't bother me as much as it is much smaller.

@SMac85 removal is painful, very expensive, and typically doesn't totally remove it (there may still be ink and/or scar tissue). I'd recommend finding a really good artist and seeing if they can do a coverup or rework into something awesome. My wife does this a lot and the finished product can be really amazing! A lot cheaper than removal too, though will be a lot more than the original tattoo was

On the topic of removal. My FIL got his exgirlfriends name on his arm. Well he is now married to a different woman. So he spent a ton to get his tattoo removed. What does new wife do? She goes out and gets his name across her back in giant huge letters....did you not realize relationships don't always last like you think they will and removing that shit is expensive and painful?! I mean whatever she wants to do, great. I just thought it was hilarious.

A lot of artists won't even do names. When people ask my wife if she does names, her canned answer is, "yeah, I cover up a lot of names!"

She did a name on one client and then did the cover up a few years later, haha!

haha yup. When I got my brother and sisters names done the artist asked about three times if I was sure. I then explained they were 15+ years younger than me. Currently the only thing we argue about it that I wont let my brother eat his M&Ms before eating his pizza. haha

Also about tattoos. I realized about two weeks ago my brother didn't even know about the tattoo I have of his and my sisters name. He was too young to understand when I got it, my sister is still to young, Anyway, I showed it to him. He thought it was so cool! haha Seeing his eyes light up all big made me so happy I got it. I love those two so much.

Tattoo fail here

I'd always wanted to get my tongue pierced but my mother vetoed it as long as I wasn't 18, then convinced me to table the issue altogether because of the damage it might do to my teeth. I got a ladybug on my left shoulder as a very tame retaliation. It was also a very lame retaliation, because I'd originally thought it was one of those temporary tattoos that go away after 6-9 years. Yeah, no. The parlor I got it done at has gone out of business but the ladybug is still going strong....

I dont know anyone that has personally used this...but its probably better than laser removal

No tats for DH or I. My baby sister has enough tattoos and piercings for the whole family, though. She has even done a few suspensions. She is the ying to my yang. :x ETA: When I see a tat I like, I send it to her. She is my "tattoo surrogate" haha.

I totally know how you feel. I wonder if SO ever thinks about our little angel baby. I think of her on her EDD (August 2nd) every year and I always coordinate it so we have the day off as a family. But I don't know if he's connected the dots and figured out what I'm doing yet.

@Valstulas yes, that is one of her tamer pics. She has always tried to make it into modeling (alternative modeling obviously) so she has a decent portfolio. Currently she works promotions for a local tattoo shop in exchange for more tats. She's still 2" shorter than me, but I have a "few" pounds on her.
