Induction set for tonight!!! :-S

Am I the last one? I've got to be close!

I've got one very stubborn little girl here, who's about to be one very pissed little girl (pissed at mommy, daddy, and the doctors for forcing her to actually be born)

My NST yesterday was OK, but not as good as last week, so my Dr would not let me push back the induction any more. I was still on the "wait list" for tomorrow, but I just got the phone call, the other girls had their babies, so I'm in! On the bright side, my induction will be with one of my favorite doctors at the practice (I was originally scheduled for induction yesterday with a dr I'm not super fond of).

Somehow an "induction on Thursday the 5th" involves me going to the hospital tonight to start Cervidil (this is not part of the induction, apparently).

So unless baby girl gets her butt in gear in the next 10 hours, she'll be forced out soon.

I'm nervous, but I do think we're doing what's best. I'm just impatient now to have a healthy baby in my arms - that's all that matters!!

Best of luck to you! My body responded very quickly to the Cervidil, more than I expected, and the contractions I had on it were very manageable. Hopefully this will give your body the kick start it needs and you can take it from there :-) Keep us posted!!

Good luck! FWIW my induction started (and ended) with cervidil and within a half hour I was having contractions 5min apart and had to have the cervidil pulled after only 2 hours. Fx you'll have your baby in no time!

This is the story I'm hoping for! I very much hope to avoid pitocin or having my water broken, but it is what it is at this point.
