Well, we are no longer team green, it was obvious right away and the tech said, "Well I hope you were planning on finding out. Boy number five in a row for us:) I felt really good at first, and then later on in the day it hit me. No little Alice for us ever and I bawled. I had just always pictured a little girl rounding out our family. But baby looks healthy and was so cute in there. We are also in the middle of moving into a house that needs a ton of work and Christmas is coming up and everything is so stressful, I cry every day anyhow. I do not recommend moving while pregnant in winter. Congratulations to everyone else who's had theirs and good luck to the rest of you!

I've got mine next week! I've got 3 boys and I'm praying this is a girl. My moms trying to get me to not find out before our reveal on Sunday after the scan. But I told her I need time to cry before I cut open a blue cake and break down in front of everyone. I feel like saying to the tech, just show me the penis. Lol.
It's a GIRL for us! Same as @adored18 , baby girl was head down and we couldn't get a good face picture, which is a little sad but at least she let us find out the sex!
We are joining Team Blue! Little man was sitting cross-legged at the end but she said he was proudly displaying himself earlier. He stayed in the same position most of the ultrasound and made her work to get everything she needed-stubborn like mama already. Our Blake Donald says hi to all you in A '14 today!!
@celticlullaby Yay! Right there with you! I have upcoming growth ultrasounds for the same reason. I think Jan. 6 is my next one. I don't think my little guy is quite as big as yours (wasn't given a percentile) but pretty sure he is above average -- estimated 12 oz. at 19w5d! FX your baby is still looking nice and big at your next scan!

@Eija3014 youre so lucky i leave work at 11 but my appt isnt until 2:15 pm tomorrow! Im trying to convince DH that we should go earlier so they can try to squeeze us in. Good luck tomorrow!
It's a! Very modest baby. Crossed legs throughout the u/s. tried turning and coughing and walking to get the little one to move! But baby was happilly sleeping... At the end when the tech was about to give up because she'd gotten all her measurements... "she" finally spread her legs enough to get an ok look. So 90% team pink! And we'll keep our receipts!
I'm ridiculously anxious about tomorrow. I guess that'll teach me to read a loss mentioned post the day before an appointment
Our ultrasound is at 1:00 following by my 20w checkup. Luckily, my boss let me have the morning off due to the weather conditions--I just had to work until 8pm tonight to offset it.
Fingers crossed for another batch of perfectly healthy babies!!
Just returned home from a 2 hr u/s. My goodness. Twins take forever. I was really nervous last night but ok today. We got a DVD too. All is well with both babies and they're measuring 50%ile. We had a brain cerebellum scare when the tech couldn't get a good clear pic on baby A. Had a second opinion come In and she checked and then MFM said all was fine, baby just in a weird position. Both babies 100% healthy and active!!! Cervix shortened by .6 but still in a great range. So all is ok! Starting insulin tonight for GD (bc of twins, not food related) and ironically, my BP was low. It's usually elevated. So that was a pass this time. Lol Next MFM appt dec 19 for fetal echo and cervix check. Next ob appt dec 11.
We got another confirmation for team pink, and everything looks great! I was worried because I've been bumping too much... I need to stop before my appointments because it turns me into a mess... But, they gave us a 3d pic of her face, lets see if I'm smart enough to post it!
Add me to TEAM BLUE! I was so excited that I burst into tears and "ugly cried" for a good 5 minutes!
We did have one little issue. There's a Calcium deposit on the heart which is a soft marker for DS. But after speaking with the Genetic Counselor and my Perinatologist, I feel much better. My first trimester screening was great PLUS my Harmony test came out with no Trisomy issues. I still can't help but be a little scared. They also said that the brain, kidneys, stomach and leg/arm bones are measuring perfectly which makes them feel even better that the Calcium deposit is nothing. My Peri and GC said that they see so many of these that resolve on their own and even if it stays, it causes no damage to the heart itself.
I go back in 4 weeks to get a few more shots because my little man was LESS than cooperative this morning. I was certain they weren't going to be able to get the gender!
And it's confirmed...Anterior Placenta. I KNEW IT. *Grumble*
IT'S A GIRL!!! She was very still and we had to use some ice water to get the money shot but everything is great and measuring on track (one day behind, which they aren't concerned about). She is perfect and I love her so much already. I'm so grateful she is healthy!
