T & P Please Updated

I was leaking water like clear fluids when I stood up yesterday evening but didn't think much of it. Today I went to work and don't sit much as a teacher but every time I stood up, I leaked. I have in the past but not that I felt or this much! I went potty and 15 minutes later I was wet through my pants! I'm on my way in to see what's going on. Thoughts and prayers would be appreciated as I'm 26 weeks 1 day with twins.

Update:
Tested positive for amniotic fluid....a water broke. Going to put me on magnesium to prolong labor and steroid shots to help the babies develop. I'm here for the long haul!

Hang in there! Same thing happened to me at 29w2d. I made it to 33w3d before going in to labor.

All of the thoughts and prayers are much appreciated!!!! Thank you very much! They have me on magnesium to try to prolong labor as much as they can and I was given a steroid shot to help the babies lungs develop. I'm at the hospital for good!

There really isn't a whole lot to update! I was having contractions on and off today on the monitor and actually feeling them. Due to this, they upped my magnesium which hasn't been too much fun! I've been leaking since I got here...sometimes it's more than others times. I got my second steroid shot. We are basically just playing the waiting game.

I hope they can keep your babies in for as long as possible. FWIW, I delivered b/g twins in March at 26w4d. After a long time in the NICU (74 days for the boy and 88 for the girl), I'm so happy to say they are completely fine and have no health problems. It was a very scary time, but we made it through and the babies are doing great. They are behind their actual age for developmental milestones, but are on track for their gestational age.

Good luck to you and your babies. Try to stay as calm as possible and realize that there are wonderful doctors to help you and your babies.

I'm sorry you went through similar things but really am glad you shared your story. It means a lot!! If you don't mind me asking what were the twins weights? My b/g twins have been measuring bigger than normal the whole time so I'm hoping that helps them too!!! I can only imagine how times were rough for you and will be for us as well. Thank you again....

Thoughts and prayers your way! Magnesium is the worst I was on it for 2 weeks on a really high dose. It made me super sick but it helped my little ones so so much. Praying those little babies stay put.

So glad to hear that the babies are still cooking! A dear friend of mine had her water completely rupture at 23 weeks and miraculously the membranes healed and her amniotic fluid regenerated! She managed to hold off labor for another SEVEN weeks and delivered a beautiful little girl at 30 weeks. There is so much hope there. Keep your spirits up and I'll keep sending as many good vibes your way as possible.

Oh my goodness!!! How amazing is that!!! Both of the babies still had good fluid levels yesterday which is great! My cervix is measuring about 1.4 and appears closed (they didn't do it transvaginally so there's some margin of error) which is great too! My first goal is 28 weeks which is now only 10 days away! Thanks for sharing that amazing and inspirational story!!!
