Once you know the sex, when will you tell everyone?

Hey ladies, just wondering what everyone is planning/has done once they know the sex of their baby. I have only told a handful of people (my immediate family and coworkers) so far and I am enjoying not having it posted all over FB just yet. Keeping it part secret is nice, and waiting to tell those in person has so far had great responses.

Once we had our gender reveal with family (where we found out too), we finally went public with the whole shebang and made it FBO.

we told our parents and close family right away and are only telling ppl if they ask if we found out already. we aren't keeping it a secret but we aren't broadcasting it either. i'm actually liking it this way

I kept the pregnancy a secret from most people until 18w, but I posted the genders on FB within an hour of finding out.

Our family is 30 hours away. We will call them and tell them and then post on social media. We are going to go out and buy a pink or blue stocking when we find out and hang it on our mantel with the other stockings as our announcement.

We were team green with DS. When he was born, we called our family and let them know that we had a baby! They had to come visit us at the hospital to find out if we had a boy or girl. We'll be doing the same thing with this one.

We let everyone else know after we told immediate family.

As soon as DH saw the penis he stepped out to call his family.

) I Bumped mid-A/S like a boss. It was when the technician stepped out while I was lying on my side waiting for baby to turn though, so I wasn't a complete crazy person.

We hope to find out the sex tomorrow at our A/S. We still haven't announced our pregnancy online but plan on announcing the pregnancy and the sex sometime this week - following a positive A/S.

I've been telling people in person since finding out. I haven't made an announcement on FB and hadn't planned to...I have a little PTSD about announcing big exciting news on FB since it often seems to blow up in my face. But noticed that over the weekend that my sister freakin' outed me via a "This is why I am thankful on Thanksgiving" post. Arghhhhh!

We'll call the immediate family right away to tell, because they are all super excited and curious. The rest of the world will find out via Facebook a few days later, or whenever they ask me about it.

We had the scan last Wednesday, but my little sister was the only one who knew until our gender reveal on Friday. After the party, it was all over fb along with our fun pictures. I'll have the video up soon. :-)

We told DH's extended family at Thanksgiving and was planning to announce to my extended family on our Christmas cards (they are all very far away) BUT DH's aunt went ahead and posted what we were having on FB so I'm not really sure it's a secret anymore. Angry doesn't even describe how I felt!

We had our gender reveal on Friday after Thanksgiving and I just posted it on FB yesterday (Sunday)! I wanted a couple days of just family and us knowing although my mom and sisters didn't understand this- they wanted to post it that night and I told them no! It's exploded on FB now so it's fun to see all the likes and congrats and such!

I wanted to wait and do some sort of fun gender reveal. But my wonderful husband could barely wait to leave the ultrasound room before he posted all over Facebook and texting family. He was so excited, I couldn't be mad at him :-/

We're not telling everyone until our gender reveal because we're not finding out until then. My sister and cousin are going to make us a gender reveal cake. Luckily it's only 2 days between the ultrasound and the gender reveal, otherwise I wouldn't be able to wait.

We have known for about 6 weeks due to genetic testing. I told family as soon as we found out the gender (that is when we told them we were expecting!). Today, I posted on FB so that extended family and friends would know we are expecting and that it is a girl!!!

My DH and I know the sex, but aren't revealing it to anyone. We feel that with facebook our whole lives are made public and we wanted something that is private. We don't intend to do a gender reveal at all. We'll just have an announcement once the baby is born with the name and a photo.
