My mom had a heart procedure right before thanksgiving. She's been very sick since the and she had to I back in Sunday night. She went into cardiac arrest a bit ago and she's basically on the edge...she could get better or we could loose her. Please pray for her and us/send us good thoughts if u have them. Thanks.
----------------------------------------------------UPDATE-------------------------------------------
So she was in kidney failure but is not anymore. She's on the maximum about of BP meds and she's intubated and sedated. They are going to start trying to scale back on the BP meds to see if she remains stable. They think she got a viral intestinal infection that caused her to be throwing up/not eating or drinking, which caused her to dehydrate, that caused her kidneys to fail, that lead for some reason to cardiac arrest.
So since the Kidney problems and infection are gone they are hoping her heart stabilizes now. I feel a lot better than yesterday although, it's still very delicate.
I just hope everything stays okay with my baby (found out about some complications in the A/S) and that my mom stays with me and my baby gets born. I can't even fathom my mom not being around when her granddaughter is born.

Yeah, my mom had one of those superbugs... (c. diff, specifically: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clostridium_difficile ) it was the worst thing I've ever seen in my whole life (even after having a mother who had several life threatening/altering diseases my entire life). She had Lupus, so it hit her much much harder than it would most regular healthy people. And my dad and I were never sick, and we lived in the same house and ate the same food. Super weird. The health dept even came to our house to test things and never found the cause.
Make sure you stay on those doctors to keep you informed. Make them keep you in the loop, its really important to help manage her care. Be the squeaky wheel! If your gut tells your something isnt okay, speak up!
I did just read about research into the superbugs, and they have recently (like, October recent.) found some bacteria eating viruses that are helping people get better... which is great!
Keep us updated! I've been thinking about you and her and praying on it!
