stomach bug / milk supply

I didn't see anything posted on this topic before.

I've got a killer stomach bug that started on Thursday night and is still going strong. My milk supply is down to next to nothing. I'm pumping on average an ounce per session. Honestly, I'm not expecting muc since liquid is going straight through me. I've been feeding the baby mostly pumped milk because he's getting frustrated and won't stay at the breast for very long with the slow to little flow. Also, I'm obviously not making enough milk to feed him at the moment.
I'm worrying that I won't be able to get my supply back up when this crud leaves me. Has anyone had any luck in getting their normal supply back after illness? I'm pumping at feeding times to keep stimulating it.

This is probably not what you want to hear, but with DS1 I got food poisoning at 7.5 months and it killed my supply and that's what stopped my EPing. If you are nursing you might have better chances of getting your supply back...sorry you are sick!!

Thank you @wasnotwas. I pump and nurse normally, I'll work to keep him nursing as much as possible. Augh. Sickness stinks.

Thank you! Good ideas. In retrospect I wish I'd pushed the nursing more, but he was so angry and I was so exhausted that I did use frozen milk. Fingers crossed I can get it back.
