I don't feel so well

I got dizzy and started feeling cold, sweating and shaking and it's been happening for the last 15mins. I have no idea what is going on. I am going to try and eat to see if that is part of the problem tho I didn't miss a meal just a snack. Has this happened to anyone before?

Re: I don't feel so well

  • Are you breastfeeding?
Yes, this happened to me when I waited to long to eat. You need the nourishment to keep up with milk production.
    It's also flu season....
    Hope you feel better soon.

  • Could be lots if things... I'd take temp, drink water and eat something, and see if that helps.

  • You need to eat and drink lots of fluid especially since you're breastfeeding. It takes more out of you. You need to have fluids to make fluids, my mom keeps saying that to me. :)
  • If you're feeling flu like symptoms or have a fever, call your provider. You could have mastitis.

  • I get like this during my period and when I have missed a snack.

Are you getting ringing in the ears?  (vertigo or low blood pressure)
Does it get better when you lay down? (possibly vertigo)
Is your hand shaking? (low blood sugar)
Is your mouth dry? (thirst, or a medication reaction)
Are you about to start your period? (possibly anemia)
Are you getting floaties in your vision? (idk what that would mean but I always call my Dr. if I get long bouts of floaties)

All else fails... Dr. Google (just kidding) call you Doctor!

  • I get severe low blood sugar when I don't eat enough or often. Those are the same symptoms. And then I risk passing out. Make sure to eat often.
  • I had what I call pregnancy Dt's the first week home, froze to death, shaking sweats, and then burning up... No fever... Attributed it to massive hormone shifts... I couldn't move during an episode. I was extremely sleep deprived and emotional. It got better!
