Nervous...first appt. this week!

Hi all,

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving (and found super Black Friday sales):)

Wanted to just write for a bit about my fears that I have for my first appt. this Thursday when I'll be 6 weeks, 1 day.  I know they'll do a U/S at this appt., and my heart is in my throat every time.  I think of what could be wrong, but then I also think about how the last time I was PG the first many appts. went well, until my 20 week anatomy scan when we found our lives turned upside down.  So, needless to say, I have tons of emotions running through my head, and just don't know how I can go to each appt. without fearing the absolute worst (if things go great this week, as I hope, what about the next appt. or the one after that?)  It's like I'm just waiting for the next shoe to drop:(

Sorry, I hate writing about this, but I just had to vent b/c I try not to talk about it with my DH too much...he's been great, and feels that we already went through the worst, things have to get better, right? But me, I don't necessarily see it that way...I fear about going through the same situation or worse:(

    Good luck this week. And throughout. It's probably going to be an emotional roller coaster until the end, but we'll be here for it.

    Thanks, everybody!  You guys are such a great support system, and really make me feel better (and that my fears are totally normal which I wonder sometimes, LOL!)

    Sending you hugs. I have the same fears each appointment. I have been trying to take it one day at a time. Good luch this week.
