I'm brandy new but I've been lurking. I recently moved to the US from Sweden. I now live in southern California with my husband and my babies. I have beautiful boy and girl twins. I have a friend who has been on the bump for years and she told me all about it. I thought I would check it out. I have lurked long enough to know what you guys expect out of newbies. I will try my best to offer help and get to know everyone. I look forward to contributing!

It's not uncommon for a house to have all of those things, but they are usually embodied in one person: the mom.

@eaglewife I understand. I still love to cook and do so often. Plus, the nanny simply helps. I spend all day with my babies. I'm not one to "pass them off to her". Does that make sense?

Hey, if you can swing it, more power to you.

I'd imagine twins can keep two people very busy, as our one baby keeps both my DH and I busy.

@stina2012 Without getting too specific (internet privacy) I live near San Diego area near the coast. No preference on sports teams. Not yet anyway. Maybe the longer I'm here, I'll change my mind.

Makes sense. Good mama! could I borrow your nanny from 4-6 am every morning when my children like to party it up? I don't have much extra money but will pay her in eclair cake and wine lol
