Smiling?

I feel like my 7 week old isn't smiling as much as he should.  He makes eye contact occasionally but I've only gotten a "maybe" smile once. I get close and talk to him and smile but nothing.  He has been congested for the past three weeks so I know he is somewhat miserable.  And I'm having major guilt issues because with a deployed husband and energetic 3 year old, I feel like I haven't given him enough interaction and time as I did with my daughter.  Has anyone else experienced this?  I don't want to worry but am :(

    I just started getting real smiles about 3 days ago.

    If I remember correctly, I didn't get smiles from 2 of my kids until 8 weeks old.

    My LO was the same until about 8-9 weeks. He's now 12 and smiles all the time.
