We aren't doing Christmas presents. But our birthdays are both close to Christmas, I told him I just wanted to go out to dinner and get flowers and that for his birthday we could go out anywhere or I would attempt to cook or bake him anything he wanted
Why do my boobs look so good? Then I peed on a stick...
He bought a bunch of stuff for himself today (DVDs, CDs, and shirts) so I took about half of them and told him he will be getting these from me on Christmas! At least he is getting what he wants, although the element of surprise is taken away
So far I've gotten him a paper shredder and a leather briefcase/messenger bag. I'll probably get him something else also but not sure what yet. He wants a Fitbit.
My DH was overly concerned with what kind of diaper bag HE was going to use. I raised an eyebrow at first, in shock, but after looking at a few he got excited so he is going to get a diaper bag

We don't usually exchange presents. We pick out something we need for the house (usually a piece of furniture) and that is our present. This year we are upgrading our master bathroom.
We are redoing our laundry room as a gift to each other. But I'll probably just get him some new khakis (his favorite style has been discontinued) and some work out shirts/shorts. Nothing very exciting for him (especially since he doesn't even go in the laundry room!)
DH bday is the 14th, Christmas, and our anniversary is on the 27th. I got him some computer that was a Best Buy Black Friday deal and a wallet and COD Ghost. Then a bunch of smaller things like DVDs and stuff. He knows about everything so no surprises. Boo.
We're talking about (finally) getting smart phones as our gifts this year. However, I think I'll still get him the board game "Ticket to Ride" as well.
He wants a Gas Monkey Garage t shirt. Once we find out if we're having a boy or girl I will get him something UK related. We're not doing a lot of gifts for each other unless its baby related.

My hubby is so hard to shop for as he is such a simple guy. So far I got him a pair of Toms. He's also starting to read more. I love my Kindle Paperwhite so much that I'm probably getting him one as well.
Ugh I really have no idea this year. He wants a new sweatshirt, so we got one today at sports authority for 50% off, and he bought himself the new Star Trek as a stocking stuffer and something for his xbox controller? so this far he knows about all of his gifts. I am clueless as to what else to get
DH lost his wedding ring about a year ago. After searching and searching I finally found the same ring and it was on sale!! Probably not what he really wants but what I think he needs
We skip the presents for each other and buy something bigger for the house. One year it was a tv, last year an ipad. This year we're buying two new coffee tables.
Some years he gets socks, underwear, and undershirts. This year I SPLUUUURGED and got him an iPad mini on Black Friday sale. He's been asking for one forever. His bday is dec 21, so it's a combo gift.
Mama to a little girl born July 2011 and a little boy born April 2014!
@jellysparkles I got my husband a home brew kit 4-5 years ago and he got reaaaally into it. It's great because it makes him easier to shop for! He doesn't do it as much since our daughter came along, though.

New iPod, cologne, odds & ends (boxers, shirts, robe) I do want to make 1 box with a Dallas cowboys onesis & a book about dads raising daughters. He is feeling a little lost with how to raise a girl & wanted to read about special things he can do with her.. so I will make this gift from her)

We tell each other what we want this year he wants some more costco tommy bahamashirts. We do surprise stocking stuffers. From food to toys to socks. Good luck!!
We just spent a crap-load on a new memory foam mattress that is being delivered on Monday,so we think me might skip gifts this year, or maybe set a really low limit like $20 for stocking stuffers or whatever. He doesn't really need anything (and neither do I) so no gifts actually sounds kind of awesome....
I bought DH a Dewault Drill Set he has been wanting from Home Depot. It was $400 and I got it on sale for $230 last week. I am probably going to get him a few more gifts like a new wallet (his current one is falling apart), a pair of new jeans, new polos, socks and boxers. I was also thinking about upgrading his 2nd generation nano to the new itouch. He keeps taking mine.
My husband is fashionably challenged so he'll be getting some sweaters and pants for work. And socks. Because his are so worn out they are see through.
I said SO and I weren't doing gifts but I got him something today. I bought him the Ron burgundy book because he loves anchorman. And then our daughter (yes, while in my uterus she picked it out) the curious George story book with seven stories and some other things in it. I feel like an awful gift giver because I always seem to get him books... But oh well!
Why do my boobs look so good? Then I peed on a stick...
I was planning to get him a DeWalt Mitre Saw he's been talking about for awhile, BUT he saw Home Depot had it on sale yesterday for $299. (About a third off.) He's as bad as I am about not being able to pass up good deals. ..... So, it looks like he's getting a new iPad.
This year we're not going to exchange presents. We just put our house up for sale and are currently building a new house (fingers crossed it's finished before the LO arrives!) so we're trying to save up money for some new household items to fill up the new house.
If we were going to exchange presents though I'd probably go with the PS4 and grab him a couple games like the new Grand Theft Auto and the new Battlefield. Also a Blue Jays jersey for the LO so that my boys can hang together and cheer on their favourite team. Ahhh I can't wait for the LO to come
