Liberty, my furbaby is obsessed with my bump. If I am sitting down she will find a way to lean against it or put her head on it. Normally I love all the snuggles but I'm trying to finish up a project for work and she is making it very difficult to type. What's your furbaby or furbabies up to today?
I just dropped mine off at the kennel since we will be traveling over the holiday. I hate to leave them but it is less stress for all of us. Here's a picture of Brody (brown) and Lula (black)
My fur babies are recovering from their heartworm treatment they had administered about a week ago. They have had no appetite the last couple of days and very runny stool. They cough and one coughed up some blood last night. I have to take them back to the bet to get them checked out. I am hoping its nothing and they will be good as new in no time. Here are my corgi babies, Layla (black) and Corley (tan).
A lot of you ladies gave me support and advice last week. I just want to let everyone know what our trainer is having us do with our 100lb, 2yo, Great Dane/Lab, rescue, Lucky.
1. Under NO circumstances am I "allowed" to walk Lucky while pregnant. That is only for my DH. 2. Until he IMMEDIATELY follows commands during ALL situations, avoid other dogs while on walks, and avoid the dog park. (He is allowed to visit the IL's dogs because he knows them and doesn't obsess over them.) 3. We switched from an extend-o leash to a six foot. My DH is supposed to step on the leash any time Lucky tries to jump or lunge while on walks. 4. We're clarifying our commands. (Come, Stay, Heel, Sit, Lay Down, Bed, Kennel, No, Good - all good! Here, wait, Eh-Eh - aren't clear enough in the pup's brain.)
Thanks for letting me jack your thread!!
Puma is (gasp) sleeping, and Lucky just came in from his romp around the back yard!
My border collie/mini Aussie is happily having cuddle time in the bed with me because I have a cold and my corgi/lab mix is happily passed out on the blanket on the couch. But it's about time to get up so then it will be yard time for them they think.
My furbabies are driving me up the wall with how clingy they have been lately but, this could be due to the fact that I feel like I'm dying of heat even though it's only 66 in the house and I'm sitting around in my underwear... Though I did have to chase Luki (my little red shiba) around the bedroom yesterday because he stole the toilet paper from the bathroom... Lilly (the white akita mix) has just been underfoot and helped Luki get the tp down from the middle shelf... Ugh.
Furbaby Ivan posing after his bath this evening The second is him bored after I kicked him out of the kitchen. He's mad I won't give him a taste of the Thanksgiving food.
I've got one guy (Jasper) sleeping in the baby's tub like it's his new kitty lounger, and the other, a big orange tabby (Finnegan) alternating between being a snuggly couch loaf and tearing around the house like he's possessed! (Notice crazy eyes in photo, lol)
Dexter likes to snuggle up as close as possible at my side, using the bump as a head rest while he purrs like a demon - LO must like it too as he/she always gets super wriggly
Currently the bump snuggler is outside with his little ginger friend who lives over the road - they're best buds, even eat out of each others food bowls and cuddly up together. SOOO cute that he's got his own best friend!
Re: Furbaby check in
Haha! That's good practice for LO! I may or may not have tried to practice my prefold skills on my dog... she may or may not have liked it ;-)
She knows I just cleaned that chair.
