15 weeks last Friday and I still haven't felt anything for sure. While listening on the doppler I can hear it kicking and moving around, but still not feeling anything even when I know it's moving. The baby's still really low when listening though so I'm expecting I'll probably feel it later on in the pregnancy.
Not feeling anything. Before we heard the baby with the doppler at the Drs she said that was normal. But when we used the doppler we could hear the baby kicking like crazy and you could tell she was a little surprised I was still feeling nothing. Hopefully soon!
Ok so I can't feel anything yet but I was laying in the bathtub yesterday and right above my pubic bone was moving. Like not beating like my breathing or heart beat but just moving. I figure it was just gas or something but wasn't sure. Went to my apt yesterday after that and the doc pointed out that the baby was moving around! I told her I couldn't feel it and she said I will soon. She said because I was small is why we could see it when I am laying down. It was pretty cool
How far along are you? I thought I've seen my own belly doing this in the same place but didn't think it was possible for it to be the baby. It's kind of exciting that it could be!
I'm not feeling anything yet. My doctor said I'd start to between 18 and 22 weeks.
But it is hard when you see people posting about feeling things when you're not. There was one poster who at 15 weeks said she could feel her baby moving all over the place a lot and I was thinking, wtf? I haven't felt anything except that one time I thought I felt a flutter but then tooted.
My first time I felt it around 16w but it was very random & almost unnoticeable unless I was sitting quietly. This time I felt it much earlier but same thing, very random & I have to be really still to notice it. I never felt a lot of consistent movement the first time until 20+ wks so I wouldn't be too worried at this point about not feeling movement.
Nothing yet. I'm 15weeks tomorrow. I wish the dr didn't tell me to expect to feel it soon because I'm thin (I'm not super skinny or anything). Now I'm in suspense. I would have been more patient if I was expecting it to start later. She told me around 14 weeks. Nothing yet.
I'm not concerned or anything. Just excited to feel the little one for the first time.
Aw why did she say that! My doctor asked me today at my appointment. It was so annoying to say no. I'm very thin, hardly 100, and haven't felt a thing. I was hoping being thin would work in my favor lol
STM mom here and I've felt popcorn pops here and there, but nothing regular at the moment. With my first, I didn't feel the popcorn pops until 16 1/2 weeks and no regular movement until 18 weeks.
@FunSizeGrl I know, right. Being thin isn't helping us out any. Lol I was hoping she was right, though.
@ckandi007 I have had "popcorn pops" and assumed it was gas bubbles that I've never felt before. So that could have been movement? I've never heard it described as that. I'm waiting for a swimming goldfish or a fluttering butterfly. Haha!!
I should elaborate, I really think I'm just anticipating it and psyching myself out over every little nuance I may or may not actually feel. One day I thought I felt something, and I ended up being hungry. Another time, turns out I just needed to pass gas. So I think my mind is getting the best of me. There has been nothing that has jumped out at me or caught me by surprise, so that's why I'm certain I have not actually felt the baby move yet. I don't know if it will be tied in to when I start to show (I'm still in my pre-pg clothes, haven't gained weight, so I'm assuming baby is still too small?), but I'm trying not to think about it and just let myself feel it when I feel it.
It’s not that I don’t like you, it’s that I don’t know you. Stranger Danger.
Third baby here and I feel little kicks once in awhile but with number one I didn't feel anything definite until 23 weeks and 12 with number 2 I'm currently 15+6
@deanna1313 - Yes! It could be the baby or it could be gas. At 16 weeks, they felt like "pops", but by 18 weeks, they felt like a lil' fish swimming. I could also feel rolls and somersaults. It was wild!
I wish I could feel little flutters! I'm jealous of all those who can but I know my time will come! I'm also way excited for this baby to come into the world already! DH keeps saying he wishes the baby would just be born tomorrow! Ha! Still got a long way to go!
So glad you posted this as I have been wondering the same thing! 16+5 today and nothing that I would classify as movement. I am definitely more aware of my uterus, I feel it all the time, but no baby.
Ohhhh I hope all the FTM's start feeling it soon that's my favorite part. (: I think this is different for everyone. With my first I felt flipping, rolling movements for the first time at 16 weeks, and with this sweet girl I was 15 weeks 4 days when we got real flipping, rolling, elbow jab kinda movement.
I think I have a couple times. But I have to really be paying attention. Normally in the morning I notice flutters. The other day it felt like a little round thing curling along my pelvis. Felt pretty weird! I don't feel it daily though.
I'm almost 14 wks and I feel nothing ... boobs don't even hurt anymore ... makes me nervous but my appt was 2 weeks ago and everything looked great so idk!
I am second time mom but my son is 8. I have felt maybe what could be a movement but nothing dramatic. It will happen and till it does we will wish it would! Hahaha. Good luck mama!

This time placenta is anterior so I'm expecting it to be later!
