    How did it come about? Before we conceived, we would just refer to the future baby as Squishy when talking about our future plans.

    Peanut and that reason being is because when I had my first sonogram at 6 weeks my baby look like a lil peanut. My first words was "ooooh look at my lil peanut" and the name stuck with me and DH ever since

    We call it the baby.

    Out of necessity, have to call it something other than "it".

    I make up nicknames for everyone and everything, but for some reason, the babies are just called "the babies".

    We do kinda call them "sleepy" and "spazzy" sometimes, since on ultrasounds baby B is always snoozing and baby A is always dancing around. But those aren't sticking! :P

    My husband and his close friends have a softball team called The Soarin Beagles (what nerds). So the baby is being called Baby Beagle or BB for short.

    Baby is pretty much just Baby at this point.  If this pregnancy is anything like my first I'll start using Ninja Baby when the kicking starts.

    Since the ultrasound I say Little Bean, DH doesn't call it anything, he's not really a nickname person, but I'm tired of calling it it

    Nov 24/13. Saw HB (141bpm) & baby wiggle around via ultrasound @ 9w5d due date changed to June 23!!

    Dec 6/13. Heard HB (122bpm) via Doppler at OB @ 11w3d

    Jan 9/14. Heard HB (124bpm) via Doppler at OB @ 16w3d irregular beat

    Jan 29/14. DH felt kicks for first time @ 19w3d

    Feb 2/14. Saw baby via ultrasound (quick scan in ER) @ 19w6d

    Feb 6/14. Heard HB (126-134bpm) via Doppler @ 20w3d normal beat

    Feb 15/14. AS - baby looked great (measured 1w small) and would NOT let us see sex! @ 21w5d 

    Feb 20/14  3D US - its a GIRL!!!!! @ 22w3d

    Feb 27/14. Repeat AS for more pics, HB 124bpm  @ 23w3d

    Mar 6/14. Heard HB (130bpm) via Doppler @ 24w3d

    We call it Roley Poley.  I started calling it fetal pole after that's all we saw at our first u/s.  H didn't love the nickname, so he changed it to Rolly Poley.

    Poppy. This is from our first white board picture at 4 weeks, when baby was the size of a poppy seed. I kept trying to move up with the weeks, but he likes poppy.

    Lol we have a unisex name so we just call "it" by its name. Baby Devon/Devin (spelling depends on boy or girl). After the daddy who is a solider.<3.

    Mostly just "the baby" but I jokingly say Cletus sometimes...Cletus the fetus...something my cousin started years ago. Kind of a family funny, I guess :-P

    We call ours "that one". Kind of a long story. We have an 11 year old who is basically the perfect kid. Smart into sports well behaved etc. then we have our two youngest that when I'm talking to my mom I refer to as "those two" because they are close in age and little stinkers. Can't come up with a name for baby so we have been using "that one". We are weird.lol
