  I really like all 3. Pick whichever feels more natural to you. One of them will just feel more like the name of your child, you know what I mean?

  
  

  There is something really sweet about Jeremy. I don't find it dated at all. I voted for Grant because I like Grant Phillip as a set. I love Desmond, too but only if it works with your other children's names. It is much different than Grant and Jeremy and does not flow as nicely with Phillip... but is a great name on its own!

  I like Jeremy and I think it goes best with Elijah.  Grant is nice too.  I've never been a fan of Desmond, don't know why.

  The middle name is not set in stone, it's just all we have as a candidate right now since that was SO's late Father's name. We are definitely open to others though so if Grant is the name we choose, we may find something that flows better.

  I picked Grant. I do have to say it is silly that your brother is "calling" a name when a kid isn't even on the horizon for him. You're a better person than me!

  Yikes! I would never let my own child determine what their sibling's name will be based on a "what if". I would stick with your original name choice. Otherwise , Jeremy is nice.
