When are you having your glucose test done?

At my 22 week checkup yesterday my OB scheduled me for three weeks from now. So I'll be exactly 25 weeks. It's the non-fasting test. Does this seem early to anyone else? When are you having yours done?

I'm 24 weeks and had my one hour (non fasting) yesterday... I failed it.

I'm doing my three hour now (work and travel conflicted with waiting until next week for the follow up).

doc gave me the paper at the last app. Which was at 24 weeks and told me to go whenever before my next app. At 28 weeks. So im probably gonna go at 27 weeks.

I was given the orange drink and told to go to my hospital's lab anytime between 24 and 28 weeks. Given that those weeks are basically this Friday - December for me, I'll just have to find an hour block to sneak away.

Standard is 25-28 weeks. I had mine at 15w because I've also had GD in two previous pregnancies.

I had the non fasting 1 hour at just before 24 weeks and failed it. I had the fasting 3 hour just before 25 weeks.

I've always had it at 28 weeks but this time I'm doing it at 24. The OB was out on delivery at my last appt and the nurse didn't answer why I was doing it earlier this time. I've always passed so hopefully I will again.

i did mine this morning, i was 24 weeks yesterday. they say non fasting, but i failed with my first when i ate, so with the last one and this one i do it first thing in the morning, hoping that does the trick. it worked with my son, so i hope it works this time too and i can be done with the tests for a while! ( :

anything between 24-28 weeks is standard unless they see early concerns, you have a history, there's other complications etc. So i think you're totally fine in that window! Good Luck!

I asked last time (22wk appt) if I'd need it at my NEXT (26 weeks) and they said no, that they don't want to test before 28 weeks. Crazy how each office is so different huh?? So I am guessing, that I won't have it until 30 weeks then, since that would be my next appt. ? I am nervous that I will have it, I was right under the cutoff last time - they said I should not worry about that then, but I would love peace of mind!

My 28 week appointment just moved to 27weeks and they didnt want me to reschedule my glucose test. They want me to do it around 28 weeks.

Mine will be at my 28 week appointment (I'll be 28+5) and it's the fasting one. Does that mean it's 3 hours?! Or do they check at 1 hour and if you pass you're done?

Scheduled for 12/4 at 8 am. I have to fast 10 hours before. Hopefully I'll sleep right through the hunger pains lol

I had my regular appointment yesterday and my doc said I go go to the lab and have it done anytime in the next month (I am 24w4d).

Some drs ask you to fast before the 1 hour - my first and second OBs did, my third did not. If your dr said fast, then fast for the time directed because they'll read the results according to those directions.

mine is on Dec 19, i'll be 27 weeks 1 day, its the one hour one, non fasting, if i fail it, then they'll do the 3 hour one, i'm going to florida for two weeks (i'm from NY), so i'm assuming if i have to take the 3 hour one it will be in january at some point.

I read it's normal to do it starting at 24 weeks, i actually thought my OB would have me do it this week at a lab, so she'd have the results by the time i saw her on Dec 19.

Just got my papers this morning and they told me to have done the morning of my next appointment (28 weeks). I was tested at 14 weeks because of prior GD and passed, so they aren't rushing to check me early I guess?
