wait a second, you mean to tell me

Re: wait a second, you mean to tell me

  • LO was naked in a blanket or swaddle and being held until 2-3 weeks old, she really hated all clothing. Now she sleeps in a sleep sack or footed pjs, in the morning I change her into clean/fresh pjs then sometimes put an outfit on in the afternoon depending on what we are doing. I have a ton of clothes thanks to hand me downs and she finally fits in her newborn clothes so part of me really wants her to wear all the cute stuff people gave us! Ah, I think I'm a terrible person! I know she's probably happiest to just chill in her pjs all day. Although I agree I think changing her in the morning and doing our wake up routine helps with time differentiation.

Sleepers are still clothes! I am totally side eyeing having baby wear the same thing all day or even two days. I mean , I know mine's a mess pot and we can go through up to five changes in a day, but damn.

i am totally confused by this, what is wrong with wearing the same thing ALL day?  My son def does HOWEVER he does not spit up, ever, and never has blow outs (yet!).

  • He has a huge foot, so most of his footed pjs in his size don't fit properly.  I dig the gowns with the elastic at the bottom.  He wears a lot of those or onesies & socks.   He hates pants.

  • Amelia is in sleepers pretty much 24/7.  I hate trying to put stuff over her head.  We put her in an actual outfit maybe once every other week- usually for church or if she's seeing someone special.
  • Those button up sleepers annoy the crap out me for some reason so my LO wears sweatpants, long sleeved shirts and socks. I guess he easy to dress because I find this easier than lining up those buttons. :-/
