Week 9 husband here. Doing everything I can to make my wife's pregnancy easier. I may in fact be the only husband using an app like this. I'm here to not only learn what our baby is going through during each week of development, but I'm here to become more educated on the whole pregnancy process. My wife is diabetic, which makes our case somewhat different than normal. Along with typical pregnancy symptoms, my wife also has to deal with the "diabetic" side of things. So far, she's doing REALLY great. I couldn't be more proud of her! She has been dealing with queasiness for a few weeks now and has a very limited appetite which sounds common according to the replies I've read. She is able to eat fruits, a few salads, and snacks such as CheezNips and pretzels. She tells me that she has to eat often throughout the day or she will get that sick/queasy feeling. Is this something y'all are going through as well? Does eating help suppress your queasy feeling? Any tips on what she can do to additionally suppress these sicktothestomach feelings? This is our first pregnancy and we're so excited. We're also having to be very cautious as well because diabetes and pregnancy isn't to be taken lightly. Thank you for all of your valuable insight. I get a lot from reading your posts. God bless you all and may you have a wonderful, healthy pregnancy!
I too am 9 weeks. Breast are sore and if hit on the wrong angle really hurts. We had our first ultra sound at 8 weeks and that was very exciting. I just want to make it to the second trimester where we've made it past that touchy area. I have been feeling pretty lousy but today so far I feel fine. I'm glad and worried at the same time. When I feel bad I know te little one is just growing etc. Is it okay if you feel no nausea, dizziness , symptoms ? What about you? How are you feeling?
Hi there. Yes I too can only eat a bit at a time. If I don't nibble I start to feel like I'm hung over from a long night of drinking or something. It's really bad. So yes it must be normal.
Hi.... I am also 9 weeks and 4 days along today and I can't eat much either just a little at a time but if I eat a lot. It will be the only thing I eat all day. This will make my second child, So proud.
This happened to me last Saturday!! DH and I went to a wedding out of town, so maybe that's what made me "forget" I was pregnant!! it was really really warm (the wedding was at Lake Chapala) and they were offering refresingh albeit alcoholic spritzers at the time you got seated.
So of course the waiter comes, DH asks for his and I ask for mine... when it arrived (and before drinking it) it remembered being pregnant and not being able to drink Tequila!! so DH got 2 x 1

Me too! Glad to hear that others are also noticing physical changes! I'm not super skinny but I am healthy and fit and I feel like I'm already starting to look pregnant. It's a strange mind flip for me to realize that weight gain right now is healthy. But I certainly feel bloated, tired and hungry all the time. And headaches have come back from a couple weeks ago. So far, all the not so lovely things about pregnancy come and go quickly. I'm definitely starting to feel more energized and looking forward to second trimester- and to finally be able to tell everyone the good news!!!!
