We brought LO to her one week and 2 week checkup, and then once at 3.5 weeks because she had a cold. She hasn't gone for her 2 month yet, but she will be going again on December 4 for her "2 month" checkup and shots.
I put Yes - Other Reason. I wanted to get his cradle cap checked out and went a 2nd time to get his poop checked out (too green for my liking). Both times he wasn't sick, but I wanted some reassurance from the ped.
Yes but not sick. LO got a crazy rash on the back of her neck and it spread over her head and face. It was a horrifying sight She was only 3 weeks old.
SS- took her 3 times to figure out her milk protein allergy and soy allergy. I didn't know if that counted in either category. Also took her to ER when mystery object was found in her formula canister.
Yes LO umbilical cord was not falling off past two weeks and was starting to look infected. Plus he's had 2 ultrasounds, a VCUG, and an audiology appt.
Yes-other reason. LO had thrush that was discovered at 1 month check up. We had to go back unplanned bc it wasn't going away with meds, needed different meds.
I got to choose SS for the first time. We had to go once because DD had a cold. And, we had to go again for a weight check. And we had to go again to change reflux meds. We visit the pedi a lot.

That's horrifying! What was found in ther formula canister??
Unfortunately, I still don't know. It felt like a piece of plastic. I have gotten refunded by Similac for the container, and am waiting for the bill from the ER to send to them to try and get them to pay for it as it was a direct result of something in a newly opened container of their formula. Once I get the bill, I'm sending the piece of whatever and the whole container to them for their lab to analyze it.
I think my LO is a lemon, other than regular check ups went because she had a cold and once because she developed a rash at a week old. She's also been to the ER once because she in the MOTN.
I voted yes, non-sick but in hindsight I probably should have checked special snowflake. Even though the visits have slowed down significantly, we still spend a lot of time in Drs offices.
We've been for weight checks, labs, jaundice checks, rash... Nothing "sickly" though.
Married DH : 7/7/12; 3 fur babies (2 dogs and 1 cat) DS born 9/3/13; DD born 7/22/15; LO due 5/28/18 FS (age 5) and FD (age 2) to become AS/AD very soon!
I voted SS. She's been to the pedi for 3 times regular visits, 2 times to see a neurosurgeon, and then twice more to the pedi for medical clearance. The first of those was for an MRI and the second was a clearance for surgery. Things should be slowing down in the doctor department soon.
SS - yes to being sick and having weight checks. We've had 3 ER visits, countless dr visits, and 1 hospital stay and this chick is only 3 months. w.t.f.

Yes - he has physio for torticollus so the ped wanted a checkup to see how it was going.
As his neck gets stronger, it drastically is improving. When I look back at his one week and two week pictures, he was always looking the one way. Now he can look straight on Zander turns his head both ways.
yes, the bottom of LOs belly button wouldnt heal after the stump fell off. it just kept scabbing so they had to freeze it twice..once at 1.5 months, then again at her 2 month checkup
We still see an pediatric Endocrinogist every month and she's also had to have her blood drawn a bunch of times for that. After December though, those visits will stop. She's also been in for a clogged tear duct once before I realized I could just treat it with breast milk and massage. Other than that, she's awesome.
We had a weight check in the beginning, 2 month shots, she's been in twice for other reasons once she had a weird line shaped rash on her leg and I took her yesterday for a cough.
Yes, we actually just got back from the pediatricians office. DS makes a "gasping for air" noise and has a little bit of a cough, so we wanted to get it checked out. Thank goodness it's nothing!
