Anybody buy one? Seems like a good idea to keep a blanket over him when we're out and about. I always get nervous that just a blanket thrown over the seat will slide down somehow.
We don't really need super warmth...I mean, we live in AL. It gets cold, but it's not below freezing like every day in the winter. I think the bundle me thing will be an overkill.
I've never used one, but my sister uses one on my nephew's seat. I'm assuming she likes it, since she hasn't taken it off since the day he was born. She got it from carseatcanopy.com.
Just to clarify, she didn't buy all the ad-ons, just the canopy itself.
Of all those "free item when you pay shipping" things, the carseat canopy is the only one I feel is good quality. The nursing pillow, cover, and sling are kinda cheap (pillow not so bad) but I'm glad I got the carseat canopy.
We got one as a gift with DS and we used it a lot when the weather was cold. I have seen promo codes in several magazines for them. They are super easy to make too! My mom used ours as a pattern to make one for my brother's baby. We definitely plan to use ours again.
I hadn't thought of this yet, I just used a blanket with DD when she was little. Although, the ones I'm looking at on your link are making me want to buy one because they are so cute!
We don't get a lot of cold weather here in FL either, but it would be nice to have one like this I think.
The car seat canopy and a lot of them are just one thin sheet of cotton that don't do anything for warmth, FYI, but are good for keeping wind off to some degree and mostly for keeping the sun and prying hands/eyes out. The one you linked has a nice minky lining that will add a bit of warmth, which will probably be more useful for ya.
I got the car seat canopy. It has a minky lining and is pretty warm. I think the quality is pretty good
I wonder how safe these are though. Is baby getting enough air under there? Am I being paranoid?
My mom ordered one off of fashion fairytales on etsy. Very cute and durable. Thank gosh she didn't order a chevron pattern, I saw at least 4 chevron canopies at the mall this weekend.

The one I'm looking at can be unsnapped in the front, but I don't see how they aren't getting air...they're just sort of placed on the top of the seat, there isn't anything sticking it to the sides of the seat? KWIM?

I'd get one off etsy.
