We dated off and on when we were younger because I moved away and would go back for the summers. If nothing else we were always best friends and stayed in touch when we were apart. We dated long distance until he graduated at which point he moved in with me in VA and the rest is history haha

@taylorh84 I was also pretty intimidated by DH's cooking at first, but now I do most of the cooking. At first we used to have the worst fights when cooking for holidays because we were both control freaks, but after the first 3 we finally figured out how to cook together. I never thought it would be something you have to learn, but we did. I'm a quick and easy type of person in the kitchen. My chicken pot pie is my favorite easy dinner. Just start with some instant country gravy, pour in a bag of frozen veggies, some already cooked and chopped chicken breast and put all of that in some pie crust. Probably could be made healthier if I didn't use store made pie crust- but I go for easy.

@RunCC37 - it was DH's choice! I've never had a dog and he had a Weimaraner growing up, which are cousins to the Vizsla, so he knew he wanted a similar dog to what he had.
FET#2 August: delayed due to thin lining (6.3). Took a few months off to try and thicken the lining with lots of estrodial. FET#2.2 December: Cancelled due to thin lining (4.8). Two frosties left.

TaylorH84 - Thanks for asking! My SN was my college log in (so boring, I know! ). I registered (The Knot) when we got married in '06 so it's based on my maiden name which is Choquette - it's French! I have a lot of extended family in Montreal and the Northeast but I don't know them all that well. I did visit Montreal for an anniversary a few years ago and absolutely loved it! I would highly recommend it - you can get quite a cultural experience without having to go too far! AFM, my parents moved from NY to NC when I was 2 and I've been here ever since.

We stayed like 25 minutes out of San Juan. I can't even remember the name of the town right now. We rented a condo in a gated community. We only went to Culebra for the day. The ferry ride was intense though. I would of stayed in Culebra for a few days if I knew it was gonna be that beautiful. We went with 2 other couples so it was definitely a good trip. My friend is from PR also so she took us to some local spots.
Question for you: Would you ever move back to PR?

Getting some more testing and trying to figure out what the issue is before FET in December, started acupuncture on 11/10, RLP and some other BW nothing major to report except slightly high Prolactin. @babydreams13 As much as I love going back to visit my friends and family I don't think moving back is in our plans. There is 2 big reasons 1. Cost of living in PR is horrendous, water and power bills are atrocious although some other things like car and health insurance are extremely
affordable 2. I don't think DH would adapt, he is from Ireland doesn't speak a drop of Spanish so for him work
would be a major challenge.
@kz's_girlygirl when you were in Thailand where were you living? In '08 DH travelled for a month through Thailand and absolutely loved it, I think my favorite places were Phi PHi, koh Samui and ayuthaya (sp?)

I've done some clothing like skirts and sundresses, but have been focusing more on things for our house like pillows, placemats and blankets for our couch. I learned from this book after my parents bought me a sewing machine 4 or 5 years ago.

@CameraBug131- Yup.. I've always lived in NJ. I spent the first part of my life in Jersey City and I could never go back to living there. We moved to the shore when I started high school. As much as I complain about the summer traffic, I love it. I'm not a beach person at all, but I love a good boardwalk in the end of September.. when it's quiet and everything is about to close up. I wish we could move to a log cabin somewhere- maybe after I retire.. Isn't it sad that I'm already thinking of retirement?...from the midwest.. do you listen to country music?

Began TTC #1 in Sept. 2010. I was 33, DH was 36.. Dx with DOR and slight MFI (8/4/11).
Test results (after first RE visit 6/21/11): 7DPO b/w: Progesterone = 11.3; CD3 b/w: FSH = 10.1 mUnits/mL, E2= 52.0 pg/mL, AFC: 6; SIS Ultrasound: Uterus great, tubes clear! AMH: 0.3
IUI#1 June 2012 (Follistim/HCG trigger): BFN
IUI#2 July 2012 (Follistim/HCG trigger): BFN
IUI#3 August 2012 (Follistim/HCG trigger): CP (Beta #1: 4.61, Beta #2: 1.0)
IUI#4 October 2012 (Follistim, ovulated before trigger, missed IUI, converted to TI): BFN
Jan. 2013 New RE
IVF #1 June 2013 MDL Protocol. Converted to IUI#4.1. (High E2 and 3+ mature follicles at first monitoring.) BFFN
IVF #1.2 August 2013 Stop Lupron Protocol with Human Growth Hormone added. 17R, 14M, 9F (with ICSI), 2 embryos (decent quality - grade 2) transferred on day 3, 2 blasts made it to freeze. Beta 8/26. BFFN
FET #1 December 2013 Last try! Transferred 2 blasts -- graded 3AB and 4BB. Beta #1 (12/27/13) 530. Beta #2 (12/30/13) 1876. BFP! One bean. EDD 9/3/2014!
