Displaying holiday cards

How do you display holiday cards?

We used to have a mantle which served this purpose but don't any more.  Then last year I put some ribbon through the bi-fold doors in our entryway and clothespinned the cards to the ribbon.  This was very cute, but we removed those doors to have an open closet now.

Any good ideas?  And obviously ideas that will keep then out of the reach of an active toddler!

  • We had a pantry door at our townhouse and I would just tape the cards to it. It actually looked cute! Now that we moved I'm not sure what I'll do this year.

  • We have a bannister that is in the entry to our house, so I put ribbon around it and display the cards there, hooking them on using ornament hooks.

  • we tape them to our pantry door.
  • I just stand mine up on the piano and alternate as they come in.

  • I have a bucket that is decorated for Christmas that we put all of our cards into.

  • I used to always prop them on the branches of the Christmas tree. DH built a mantel on Saturday thought, so we'll probably do the mantel thing this year.
