I am cleaning the house while H and Howell are out and about and eventually bring FIL from the airport. I'm a little annoyed about his visit but I suppose having someone to Thanksgiving is better than no one. Tonight we will probably go to dinner with FIL at this place that has Swedish, Hungarian and Polish food.  It's like I opened it because that's what I am but whatever. Gotta love somewhere with aquavit, pierogi and paprikash.

    Getting ready to head to brunch with some girlfriends. It's not very often that I spend time without DD on a weekend, so I'm excited to catch up with my friends uninterrupted. Later this afternoon we're going to our playgroup.
    BFP #1 9/2010 (lost our baby at 21 weeks) BFP #2 8/2011 (ectopic pregnancy) BFP #3 10/2011 (chemical pregnancy) BFP #4 12/2011 (Abigail born 8/15/12) BFP #5 5/2013 (Griffin born 1/23/14 with heart defects, now repaired!)

    I'm about to prep dinner. I always hated casseroles deep down inside because people always put nasty condensed soup in them. I looked at a few recipes, and made a pretty damn good version of a chicken and rice casserole. SO has requested it for dinner tonight.

    This morning = Target.  Then I read Cooking Light in the bath.

    This afternoon = Chores around the house and playing with DD.

    This evening = My parents are watching DD so DH and I can go out to dinner for his birthday and to the holiday open houses at stores downtown.  We're going to come home at like 8:00 so we can watch some Gilmore Girls on DVD before bed.  We are very boring people.

    This morning we ran around like crazy people dropping one car off for service, then grocery shopping, then running back home for a delivery, then unloading groceries, then going back to pick up the car.

    This afternoon, the band practices while B and I play. Maybe then we'll buy the other furniture we've been considering for the basement.

    This could be a very expensive day.

    @Baker_Bride, I feel like we could be eating besties! Your dinner sounds delish.
    This morning I took the boys to re-do holiday pics with a professional.  I think we got some super cute shots, even though it was freezing out.  DS is napping now, going to dinner tonight at an awesome Cajun/creole place with a few friends and the kids.  DH is still. In Florida, comes home tomorrow.
    Guess I should write the master grocery list for the week now.  No fair to have to plan a holiday meal AND regular meals for the week too!

    DD is currently napping. H and I are taking a break and relaxing before we go to our neighbor's for a party this evening. Also, it is H's birthday. We ate at BWW for lunch. Eh.

    Sewing for ds. He has some one piece outfits that are way too short in the legs now, so I cut them to turn them into shirts. Now he has 5 more long sleeve shirts. I'm also working on another pajama pant, and a pair of corduroy pants from an old pair of mine that I no longer like the fit of.
