Saline sonogram/bleeding

I usually lurk, but could not find an answer here, so I'm hoping you can help! I'm 9 months PP and completely weaned from breastfeeding 6 days ago. I have not had a period since...May 2012, but have been feeling like it's coming for a while now. I had a saline sonogram yesterday and Dr. said to expect some bleeding. There was some bleeding yesterday but then it stopped. Then this morning seemed to pick up again and has continued all day. Is this normal after sonogram or could this be AF? Thanks! *I should add that the bleeding is not worrying me either way right now. And I'm sorry if this is TMI :)

    I only spotted for a few hours after my shg, so maybe it's af finally showing up.

    Me:34 Type 1 Diabetes, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Hypothyroid DH:35 Perfect
    DX: Unexplained IF
    Many IUI's with various meds all BFFN
    IVF #1 11/11 canceled due to OHSS
    IVF #2 Feb/March 2012 ET of 2 on day 3 4/7 BFP! 5/1 u/s blighted ovum
    IVF #3 July 2012 ET of 3 on day 3 7/24 BFP!
    Healthy baby girl born at 36w4d on 3/9/13

    IVF #5 June 2018- PGS planned, no surviving embryos
    IVF #6 August 2018- ET of 2 on day 3 - Chemical pregnancy
    IVF #7 August 2019-....?

    I'd say that if you were bleeding all day it could be AF. You probably just have to wait and see what happens. GL!

    Thanks for the replies, I'm still bleeding so I'm thinking it is AF. Truthfully I'm a little excited because we went to the RE to get a game plan for TTC#2 and getting AF will help me put our plans in action! Now to see if my cycle is all mixed up after pregnancy. @Ducky719 Hello right back at you and your beautiful little girl :)

    The good news is that you need to call the RE to let him know and s/he can confirm if what you have is AF or not!
