DEC13 BUMP AWARDS: Link to Google Poll

Hi, you guys!  This was already a crazy project and then I went and had a baby nine days ago...  Anyway, because Bump polls only let you ask one question at a time, and because I didn't want to clog the board with 40 individual category posts, I created a Google poll, which I promise is not actually a spam link to dolphin porn or something equally disturbing, like photos of mucous plugs...ahem...I mean baby corks.  


I'll give you guys until Thursday to take the poll, and I'll (try) to announce the winners over the weekend.  Good luck to all those nominated and WELCOME NEW DECEMBER BABIES -- your moms are all winners already.

P.S. You will notice some categories that were suggested and had nominations are omitted from the final voting.  The Powers That Be asked that I not include certain posters in the awards, despite your nominations, and as this is all supposed to be in good fun, it didn't make sense to include people without a sense of humor anyway.

So, as you may remember, last week I solicited your suggestions for End-of-Pregnancy Awards categories. After carefully poring over the suggestions, I've put together some of the most-lovetitted categories -- there are A LOT of them. I tallied something like 65 categories, but after thinking about what was a reasonable amount of badges (...that I guess I'll be making if nobody else wants to do it...?  Please?  Anyone? *crickets*), I've shortened the list to around 40. Which still seems like a lot, but I'm assuming there won't be nominations for all of them.

Following @lrachelle80's seasoned advice, I made some executive decisions to cut out categories that would overtly start arguments, attract Bumpies Who Shall Not Be Named, or potentially get people too butthurt (like Most Full of Sh*t, for example) -- hey, as the volunteer coordinator, I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO FART GLITTER ON THIS ONE, GUYZ.

Here's how it'll work: Submit your nominations (of yourself or of other Bumpies) by commenting on this post below.  Be convincing, campaign a little!  Feel free to link to posts that help you make your case for your nomination.  Please do it in this format:

Category -- Bumpie -- Explanation 
Category 2 -- Bumpie -- Explanation

    Yep. I was a huge part of MC/PGL and TTCAL back in the day and I was really kind of horrified and disappointed by the way they treated her. I felt terrible for her.

    Oh no. I haven't followed her but that makes me sad. I miss her being part of this board and think of her often.
