We play Pandora a lot during the day- once the kiddy songs start to get to me I switch it up to the Band of Horses station-- it's really good and not to screamy/crazy. Mellow and she likes to dance to some of it
He loves the white stripes....icky thump is his all time favorite song, since he was a newborn. From then until now, anytime he cries, all he needs is to hear the first few beats and he is absolutely captivated until the end. If he is freaking out in the car he is fine if we play it over and over. Only that song has that power, no idea why.
She loves music. Every morning she points at the computer and starts dancing. We are extremely eclectic, but she seems to like dancey 80s pop, 50s doo wop, and Motown the best.
Here are the last things we've listened to on Spotify: Elmo, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, The Lion King, Weezer, Travis, U2, Arcade Fire, Prince.
J loves hiphop. I swear every time DANCE(A$$) came on when I was pregnant, he'd kick. He will listen to country as long as I'm singing. Sometimes we listen to rock, but not very often. My music kind of takes over, and SO just deals with it.
