If you have a blankey kid...go get a spare. When your baby is three, like mine...and blankey gets a hole...it's not a big deal. Because you have a back up.

I just spent $20 (which was near impossible to find the identical one because it was discontinued two anz a half years ago!) on a blankey because blankey has a hole. :( my heart broke when he told me....

Re: Blankey

  • Why didn't you just sew up the hole?

  • If you look at it closely its the way fleece is made. Its like little slits all the way across the blanket. Its just a matter of time the whole thing is covered with tiny little holes....or giant ones!

  • We have about four different blankets that we rotate (one goes into the laundry, another goes into the crib.)  I'm trying to prevent super attachment, but if it happens, we'll definitely get a back-up!
  • I plan on buying another 3 loveys identical to his favorite "puppy."  He said "Puppy" for the first time last night and it was so darn cute, I may just enable his attachment a little more now!

  • This is why I have a dozen blankets and switch them out every other day so he doesn't get attached to just one. So far, so good.
