Im confessing for DH: LO woke at 3am so I fed, changed and rocked her back to sleep. She woke back up at 4am so it was his turn...he went and rocked her 3 different times but she kept waking back up. I asked if he would take her downstairs to the swing cause I knew that would knock her out. His response, "no. She's fine, I've rocked her 3 times already. Just turn the monitor down."
WTF dude! I get that you're sick, but just turn the monitor down, really? Maybe that's more a wtf than fffc.
Mine today is that I've been looking for a job closer to home so we could be near my parents. And away from ILs. Problem is...we both have great jobs here so may be more of a pipe dream. Won't stop me from looking though.
I've been very grouchy lately to the point my students have noticed. This happened yesterday: "Mrs. K you're funny today! Did you get a lot of sleep last night?" I guess this sleep regression and my cold have gotten the best of me this week. ETA: grammar
I'm incredibly OCD about water, it annoys me. Bottled water is fine, filtered water should be in a bottle (sports water bottles are out of the question. If it's not in a bottle it can be in a glass (not ideal), but it HAS to be glass and it has to have ice. Can't drink tap water, can't drink the last quarter inch, can't drink warm water. If I find ANY floaters, that's it. I get SO mad at myself, but I just can't do it.
Also, I'm not religious at all, but I still pray for my LO every night before bed.
Where I work there are some amazing people. However, you always have that one person or two or 10, that just continue to be rude, absurd and or ignorant. ( not co-workers) so when they piss me off for the last time, as they walk away I do give them the finger!! I wish it could be in their face but....we all know how that would go.
I get so tired in the middle of the night when LO gets up, sometimes we both fall asleep in the middle of a feeding and the bottle leaks all over him. This happens more times than not. Sorry little man!
I've managed to elbow LO in the head and drop my keys on his face this week

Ive been watching my nephews all week because my sister is a teacher and had confrences. Well last night her mil popped in to "help". Really all this did was make me want to stab her.
This is the woman who likes to tell me there is something mentally wrong with 3 year old dn when he has temper tantrums. Well last night she got dn so upaet he wouldnt eat his pizza and she kept telling him hed have to go to the hospital vause he never eats, and that he couldnt come to thanksgiving at her house because he doesnt eat.
Then she swatted one year old dn on the butt for not sitting still, and wouldnt stop talking about how ds needs rice cereal and shell make him some bsby ci ci and how im spoiling him by wearing him.
Ill admit it, i flipped out on her and made her leave after all of that. Im not even sorry.

@LAMuehlen Omg what a nut job! Who says stuff like that to a 3 year old?!
Right?!?! Hes three he actually eats all the time, i got him to eat shrimp premavera monday night. So dont tell me he wont eat, cause he will if hes not upset.
I have to be at work in 2 hours but H is sleeping in my arms and we are cuddling in bed. It's pouring rain out. My boss is out today. I don't care if I'm late.
I always nurse my baby to sleep. Naps and bedtime.
Is that a confession??
Hahaha ok lame confession!! I thought it was a confession bc I am supposed to be putting him down "drowsy but awake" but that is a complete joke in our house. I nurse him until he's out cold. I will work on a better fffc for next week.
I make a stink face whenever I read someones post about how they only shower every other day. Pee-You.
Um I would be that person... 2 day hair > freshly washed hair.
I wash my hair 2-3 times a week...more likely 2 and I am back at work full time. I do take a body shower every day though. KMS has a great dry shampoo- smells good and is a life saver. I used to be a wash every day kind of gal.
I will be the first to say I don't wash my hair everyday, but I do bathe daily!! Hair doesn't get so stinky but come on, your pits, your lady bits, etc... those require daily washing in my book.

lol Yea, bring something spicier next week I rock LO until he's knocked out. It works for us

Ditto. Though it's not for the hair. It's only so my skin and hair don't get super dry. I only shower on days I swim and the chlorine is already so rough on my skin and hair.

So my "temp" has now been hired and after hearing her comments about me not coming back and taking my job before I left on maternity leave and then having to deal with her texts asking if I am coming back during my maternity leave, I CAN'T stand her. To make matters worse, she now has my desk and computer at work. I am stuck with my laptop and working around the office until my new cube is ordered. How the F did this happen?
This is my absolute nightmare. I'm sorry you are dealing with that.

On my honor, I will try to serve God and my country, to help people at all times, and to live by the girl scout law; I promise my pits don't really smell that bad (trust me I've asked) and I use deodorant.
As far as the lady bits I have feminine wipes I keep with me when I need to freshen up a bit.
I'm with @BellhurstBride my skin gets really dry from the cold weather and not showering everyday helps the dryiness.

WTF she sucks, for real a 1 year sitting still not going to happen, why because he is 1 that is what they do. I would be worried if my kid sit still. The first thing I would think he is sick.
I feel sorry for your sister, her MIL sucks.
Right, i want know what bil and his sister were like as kids if she cant handle normal child behavior
Lol. Team BabyE143, I don't shower much and I don't stink often. I cant sweat, for one. And I'm usually just doing stuff around the house, I don't really get dirty. My skin and hair are so much better for it!
With holiday yumminess upon us, I'm getting a leeeettle bitter about my diet restrictions for breastfeeding. Makes me want to test and see if lo's tolerance of dairy and soy has improved.
But, I shan't, I shan't.

For children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow.
DH is off today, so I woke him up everytime I woke up during the MOTN feedings. I was so tired at 1am, I had to! Then again at 5, and again at 8. It's his first day 'alone' with him, but my mom is there for support. I told her to just watch him to see how he does and not help out
I have very curly, dry hair and if it's washed every day, it becomes like straw. My hair is at it's best after 2-3 days of not washing.
My confession - I've been making lactation cookies like a crazy person, because DH doesn't like them and I don't want to share my cookies.
I made lactation cookies for a friend last year. She shared it with her BIL and he said it was good. After he ate it, she told him it was lactation cookies. He looked like he was going to throw up, but it's just an oatmeal cookie!
On days that I shower in the morning before feeding the babies, I don't put on deodorant right away bc they get their hands all up in my pits and I don't want them putting those chemicals in their mouths.
Anyway, I often forget to put it on before I leave for work. And I'm pretty sure I smell by the end of the day. Oh well.

DH, and my dad, are convinced that I make them with breastmilk. I told them that there is no way I'd waste my milk on making cookies with them! But they don't believe me.
Yeah I don't shower more than every other day either. Only exception is if I do a hard workout and sweat a lot. Then I will of course. I really don't smell and TBH, with two little ones I barely have time to shower anyway. Or shall I say, when I do have time, I choose to do things like Bump or watch tv.
I wear hosiery. Yes, even nude hose. Outdated? Old fashioned? For the elderly? Downright patriarchal?
Yes, but my legs are so white, veiny and randomly bruised it's a necessity. It's me and the conservative set of baby boomers keeping the hosiery industry alive!
I still feel clumsy when dressing LO. So much so, that if people are around I "let them" dress him (i.e. my mom, DH, MIL..)
And what's worse, is I used to dress my sister's babies all the time and I never flinched. I tell myself it's because I hate making him even a little bit uncomfortable.
So my "temp" has now been hired and after hearing her comments about me not coming back and taking my job before I left on maternity leave and then having to deal with her texts asking if I am coming back during my maternity leave, I CAN'T stand her. @jessicaivana oh hell no!! That would piss me off like no other! Seriously, how did that happen. I hope she trips and falls really bad. Also, I saw your post about that dry shampoo. Where can you buy it at. My hair is so long I also only wash it 2 or 3 times a week. The dry shampoo I have now sucks majorly.
Yesterday I made oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. Other than dinner last night I only ate cookies and cookie dough.
Sometimes when H changes LO I hope for a blow out because he doesn't change her as much as I think he should.
Me too! Of course last night when LO gives up a giant poo my H is in the bathroom with reading material and I didn't want her sitting around in it for a half hour so it was all me.
