What toys are you getting LO for Christmas?

This has probably been covered recently, but please indulge me and tell me again. I'm having a hard time coming up with things. So far all I have is a Fisher Price Servin' Surprises Kitchen & Table and a Cabbage Patch Kid Baby. She is really into playing with toys lately, but I want things she can grow with instead of getting bored with them in a few months. Thanks.

    So far I got him a barnyard animal puzzle and book. He loves Elmo so we will also get the my size Elmo

    I am pretty much done. I got him the Kidkraft Uptown kitchen, a skater boy cabbage patch doll, this Melissa and Doug playdoh tool set, abc magnets, and a personalized step stool from etsy. I would really like to get him a Rockabye rocker too but we have already gotten plenty so I probably won't.

    I'm also on the hunt for a cabbage patch baby. DH wants to get her a teepee. I know she'll be spoiled by the grands so we're not doing much else.

    My mom got the Cabbage Patch Baby at Toys R Us last night. They only had 3 left and the salesman said that they have been selling out. It's the 30th anniversary of Cabbage Patch Kids, so I guess that's why. I didn't know this.

    Im getting him unit blocks, duplos and the little people bus. My sister is getting the little people farm. After that, books.

    I guess I need to get my booty to the store then! I was also looking online but couldn't decide. Funny how they are so hot again. I remember the stampedes in the 80s. Hope it doesn't come to that!

    We don't celebrate Christmas in our house but exchange gifts for Hanukkah. (And I will probably repeat that sentence 100 times before December 25 :P). LO will receive a small gift on each of the 8 nights after lighting the menorah and saying the blessings. I'm not planning anything substantial. Her main gifts from us will be a Corolle baby doll and a lady bug tunnel, appropriate because we call her Lila bug.

    Nothing big - we have a small house.  She likes to put items into containers, so possibly one or two small toys like that.

    Honestly, she has enough already, so it's hard to think of more things she would enjoy.  We still have some birthday gifts she was given in our basement waiting for them to be "developmentally appropriate."

    We might get her a small plastic slide to bring up from the basement on rainy days.  Might.

    I really liked what @gollywollypog mentioned, 1 item each: want/need/wear/read. I think it's a great way to keep spending in check!

    A Marky Sparky Dudley Horse. They have them at this indoor play place we go to and I can't get DS off them. Older kids, like 5-6 years old, love them, too.

    I had to Google this to see what it was. Kate has a Benny the Bull, which looks similar, and she loves it. Good gift.

    We are doing this this year, too.

    DS's want will be some sort of toy train, either Little People or a Melissa and Doug wooden stacking one. We got him some pjs and slippers for wear, and I am planning on The Very Busy Spider for read and probably some more sippy cups for need.

    Like @piphigirl said, it is hard to think of things he would enjoy since we do have a lot already, esp. with an older sibling. But the only trains we have now are Thomas size ones, so I think a bigger one will be good for him.

    We got him Little People Zoo Train, Little People Farm, and a set of toy tools (plastic hammer, screwdriver, etc.).

    My parents are buying him a tricycle, even though he won't be able to use it yet, they want him to have it for next summer before August rolls around.

    No idea what he's getting from DH's parents.

    She is getting a play kitchen and Little People farm from us. Oh, and a penguin pillow pet that was an impulse buy because it was so cuuuuute. Grandparents are getting her play food and an Anywhere Chair. I also got her some things she needed, but I will wrap just because it's fun. Pajamas, toddler plates, etc.

    I'm also on the hunt for a boy cabbage patch doll. No luck yet. Other than that were pretty much done. A power wheels lil quad, M&D animal puzzles, and a few DVDs.

    I got my son one from the cabbage patch website. There are tons of really cute ones there. We got the skater boy one.

    I also "adopted" from the CPK website. It's a bit more money but better than going from store to store plus you can get the features you want and change the crazy name if you prefer.

    LO has a cabbage patch doll from last year but we just recently got it out of the box for her and she loves that doll.   She makes sure the baby has her blankie all the time.

    We are going to get her some new socks (exciting LOL), a small play kitchen, two new books and maybe something small for her stocking.
