Dislike Little Drummer Boy LOVE Happy Christmas, Baby It's Cold Outside, Last Christmas, Mele Kalikimaka, Blue Christmas, Wonderful Christmastime, Rockin Around The Christmas Tree, White Christmas, I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Clause..... the list just goes on and on
"Do You Hear What I Hear?" is the worst song ever written. And it is ONLY sung by obnoxious female vocalists using Baby Jesus as an excuse to show off their range.
I also cannot abide by the David Bowie/Bing Crosby version of "The Little Drummer Boy." Listen, I love you both. But I hate you together.
Christmas Shoes. It is THE worst. I don't understand what time period it is supposed to be taking place in. If someone around here saw some raggedy kid all alone, young enough to not be able to count his money, they would call CPS in a freaking heartbeat. Maybe that crap would have been ok in like the 50's, but it wouldn't fly now. His daddy told him his mom is probably going to die tonight, so why is the kid not at the hospital or whever with her? Where is the dad? Does the kid really think a woman that sick really cares about material things at this point? If this song is going to continue to be played, then I need answers!
Preach it.
Isn't that the same guy who sings that God-awful "Butterfly Kisses" song? It's all just awful.
The Christmas Shoes movie has Rob Lowe, and the sequel has NPH, so there are two redeeming factors for that horrendous song.
However, Mele Kalikimaka is the most underrated and underappreciated Christmas song, especially when sung by Dean Martin, so SHUT UP, I LOVE THAT SONG.
I'm not very picky, I guess. I can't think of one that I really dislike. Also, I'm a sucker for those sappy songs like Christmas Shoes. I don't love the song but I tear up whenever I do hear it. Plusalso I love Paul McCartney!
That Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time by Paul McCartney
There are more and I am sure I will remember when you add yours!
Totally agree with this list. For those that mentioned little drummer boy, there is a horrific version by Justin Bieber with Busta Rhymes. Who thought, "Let's get those two together for some Christmas music!"?
Re: What Christmas carols can you not stand?
Feliz navidad (worked retail too long)
Christmas Shoes (scam artist alert)

So This Is Christmas
Feliz Navidad
Ironically, when I turn on a Christmas radio station, these 3 songs are played in rotation ALL THE LIVE LONG DAY! Nobody likes them so just stoppit.

There are probably a few more. I'm the grinch when it comes to Christmas songs.
