Gift for Infant room at DC

On top of getting the DC teachers something for Christmas I also want to get something that is for the room. I was thinking of maybe getting a few books or small toys but I am at a loss. Any suggestions on books or toys?

    I might ask them what they need?  Or what they would like a duplicate of, so multiple kids can play with something at the same time?

    That is so so so sweet of you! I LOVED parents like you. Helen Oxenbury's We're Going on a Bear Hunt! is a good one for a classroom and not everyone has it. It makes for great circle times. H is always laughing at me for how animated I am when I read it. :) The Hooray for Fish is another...I think that's Lucy Cousns. Anything by Emma Dodd. 

    In terms of toys, those foam blocks are great or maybe a truck or baby doll. Dolls and trucks are always a problem in terms of sharing. :) 

    Also, did you do a formal announcement? Congrats for your little raspberry!!
