T&P's please, our fur baby passed away today

Our chocolate lab Penny passed away this morning at 4:00. She was our first pet we got together and almost 2 yrs old. She was sick when I woke up yesterday. We took her to the vet and they hooked her up to IV's and gave her antibiotics for severe dehydration and internal parasites. We picked her up last night and were to bring her in this morning for a check. She was looking much better when we left the vet. I had a bad feeling and couldn't sleep so I stayed up to be with her. She was on pain meds and sleepy but kept responding less and less. She had a few accidents so I was checking her every few minutes and when I went to check on her again she was gone. It was barely 24 hours since her first symptom. It happened so fast and we are heartbroken. Thoughts and prayers for us please, she was always in our plans and we were so excited for her to meet our little guy. I'm glad she didn't suffer but it is such a shock. We have another doggie to love on and she is a great dog but today is just very sad. Thank you. Here are two of my favorite pictures of her. <3 I can't believe she is gone.
