Anyone else getting their anatomy scan done on the 27th? I saw that this worked really well for the ladies getting theirs done yesterday, and it seemed pretty exciting to do it that way! Even if there's only a few of us, I think it could be fun.

I know mountain time is usually an hour behind central time, but I also know that certain places don't observe DST. So, is that the case with you? 9:30 mountain and central time? Sorry if that's confusing! lol I just want to make sure I'm understanding correctly. I'm from Texas, so 9am central time for me.

How far along will you be when you have your A/S? 18 weeks 1 day

What number baby is this (1st, 2nd, etc.)? 1st

Do you have any intuition about whether baby is boy or girl (if you don't already know)? If so, which? Everything tells me girl (wives tales,etc) but I feel it's a boy!

Do you plan to do a gender/sex reveal? If so, what? Yes! The next day is a big family thanksgiving and I am making a dessert tart with strawberries and blueberries! The cream part will be colored either pink or blue! Just a cute little addition to the family dinner

my mom and MIL will be at the a/s so they will already know. I will call my besties and 2 sisters who won't be there before.

Just something small for the kids that i volunteer with at a daycare center. They're 4&5 year olds and seem to be very excited about my pregnancy so i found some white play-doh on etsy that will turn either pink or blue when they play with it which in turn will reveal the gender.

I thought FOR SURE it was a girl, but it's a boy! We found out about 8 weeks ago via genetic testing.

Do you plan to do a gender/sex reveal? If so, what? We did a tiny reveal for my daughter with blue balloons in a box. For everyone else we just told them.

Mine is the 27th, too! I work in NY during the week and only get home to Boston on the weekends, so I've had to schedule all of my appointments for either Fridays or on top of holidays. I'm so excited and nervous!

Do you have any intuition about whether baby is boy or girl (if you don't already know)? If so, which? Old wives tales say boy, and that's what folks around me are guessing. I don't have a "feeling" really one way or the other. Right now I'd probably guess boy but I think that's just the power of suggestion.

Do you plan to do a gender/sex reveal? If so, what? I was planning cupcakes with colored cream filling which I thought would be cute but we already have a ton of Thanksgiving desserts (we're hosting) so that seems wasteful. We'll probably just tell the family.

What number baby is this? #3 I have two boys ages 6 and 4.

Do you have any intuition about whether baby is boy or girl? My sons think it is a little sister. My husband thinks it's a girl. At times I feel it is a girl but I don't know if that is because I really want a girl.

Do you plan to do a gender/sex reveal? We plan to do something simple. My husbands parents and part of my family don't even know I am pregnant. I have been hiding under sweatshirts. They don't really suspect anything because I lost one at 4 months in April and then my husband was in a bad motorcycle wreck in august that left him with a completely broken pelvis (I was almost 6 weeks along when that happened). So we are excited to go for Thanksgiving And announce that I am pregnant and it's a girl or boy.

Mine is the 27th at 12:15 EST. I will be 19w5days with #2. No idea if it is a girl or a boy, but with 5 grandsons and 8 great-grandsons (no girls) on my DH's side there is a lot of girl pressure. We hope to do a gender reveal on the weekend with family (cake probably). In Canada so no thanksgiving coming up.

I initially was thinking boy since I was seeing a bunch of people having girls but now I almost feel like there are a lot of team blue's popping up. I will be happy either way as long as baby is healthy!

Do you plan to do a gender/sex reveal? If so, what? We have thanksgiving on both sides so I am just going to bring cupcakes with filling and have it either be blue or pink. By DH and I will be finding out before them so I was thinking of teasing my family on facebook by putting "We are having a healthy baby....." and make them wait til the next day to find out.

All of the wives' tales, gender predictors, my husband, and both DSs think it's a girl. This pregnancy is A LOT different than it was with the boys, but I don't know if that is a good indicator or not. I'd be excited for a girl (but would happily take a boy too)!!! I just can't wait for the A/S and am praying that everything is good--I've got that in-between appointments nervousness.

Do you plan to do a gender/sex reveal? If so, what? I'm not sure. It's the day before Thanksgiving so it would be fun to do something on the holiday...BUT I made the mistake of telling our mothers that we had the A/S planned for the 27th. They are on us to tell them immediately what LO is. I might just make them wait it out!

I do! I do! I'll be 19 weeks. Soooo excited! This is my first and I think it's a boy. I will find out if the baby shows, but I'm keeping it a secret from my family. I only plan to tell my students because they're all so excited! Good luck everyone! xoxo:)

@P&B715 Aww, sorry you feel pressured into not doing a reveal! I didn't have anything in mind if I wanted to do one or not, but I'm sure the same thing would happen to me if I wanted to wait any longer than a few hours to tell my MIL!

@sascott520 Absolutely not! Haha kidding! :P Of course you can join us! You can start us off when you find out.

Just know that I'll be a little secretly jealous that you're finding out a day before I am.

@Boston*bride I feel the same way about what I think the baby could be. It's about half and half of what people are guessing, but I think the majority of people guessing girl are just saying that because they really want me to have one. So I think I'm having a boy! Also, you could do a reveal that's non-food related that way you wouldn't feel like you're being wasteful if you really wanted to do one.

@T13Lucky_Star Wow, that's quite the story! Sorry about your previous loss. I'm sure everyone will be so shocked and excited to hear that you've managed to hide it for this long and that you're pregnant!

@Jessimax Similar story here. Boys are the majority on my husband's side, so a lot of his family wants me to have a girl.

@EnFuego12 I made the mistake of telling my MIL when my a/s was too! There are a lot of things I'm doing this pregnancy that I'm like, "Oh... I'm definitely going to wait/not say anything at all next time." lol Live and learn I guess!

Do you have any intuition about whether baby is boy or girl (if you don't already know)? If so, which? My first instinct was a girl but now, I don't feel one way or another...probably because I don't want to be wrong.

Do you plan to do a gender/sex reveal? If so, what? We're team green so I won't know until RCS date of 4/14

Do you have any intuition about whether baby is boy or girl (if you don't already know)? If so, which? I honestly feel like there is just a baby in there haha I have no guess except what I would like the baby to be (boy) since we have a girl!!

Do you plan to do a gender/sex reveal? If so, what? Yes we do on Thanksgiving to our families but have not decided on how yet!!

Mine is at 9am central time with a the high risk ultrasound tech so hopefully we will get some good 3d/4d shots!!!

Do you plan to do a gender/sex reveal? If so, what? We want to do a little something since it's Thanksgiving and all but we honestly have NO CLUE what to do! We'll probably just end up telling everyone. My sister did a gender reveal cake about 2 months ago, so I don't want to do anything to that extent. Maybe just purchase some blue or pink shoes and have our parents close their eyes while we put the shoes in their hands. We'll see!

Assuming we don't accidentally get a sneak peek we'll be asking them to write down the sex, then we're handing it off to out friend who's throwing the baby shower in January. We'll find out boy or girl with everyone then

Mine is tomorrow too (8:30 a.m. Eastern)! I'll be 18 weeks, 1 day, and this is my first. We already know it's a boy, and so does everyone else, but I'm still excited to see him.

This is good timing too, because I had some very light spotting this morning (the story of my pregnancy). It only happened once when I woke up, so I didn't bother calling my doctor because all they would do is have me come in for an u/s to check that everything was okay, and I'm already on the books for tomorrow.

Thanks @baileymama3. I've had spotting on and off throughout my pregnancy, and every time I've gone in, it's been nothing. It still gets me nervous every time, but I've gotten to the point that if it's not continuous, then I force myself not to freak out. As long as the doctor can hear a heartbeat, they don't seem too concerned. And right now, LO is moving around, so that makes me feel a whole lot better.

Do you plan to do a gender/sex reveal? If so, what? Yes! We're flying into Cincinnati (from Dallas) for Thanksgiving. We have friends driving in from TN and other friends and family coming over on Friday for the big reveal. Hubs and I actually aren't finding out tomorrow. My doc is going to call my sister and tell her, so it is actually a surprise for both of us since hubs can't be at the appt. We are revealing with a silly string fight. Sis will cover the cans so we don't know what it is before we spray each other. :-)

@SimplyRSVP Oh my gosh!! That's the best reveal I've heard of so far! How fun!

I wish I would've thought of that. Totally something my husband and I would do.

As for getting a good image - I'm not sure. I know a lot of doctors tell expecting moms to drink a lot of water, but I'm not exactly sure why. Mine hasn't told me to do that, so I don't know. Maybe someone else will have some advice.

I'm a FTM too!
