I called our pediatrician today to schedule a 15 month appointment, and the response was "Oh, we don't do that." She said they'd see us at 18 months. I don't mind at all, but I was surprised.
It was opposite for us. We just had a 15 month appointment yesterday. The Dr was like ok he's good until 2! They only schedule an 18 month visit if they are concerned about growth.
We were told the same thing. She had a bunch of shots at the appointment as well.
We were told that Albert could have the fifteen month or eighteen month appointment, but that they didn't do both. We opted for the eighteen month appointment.
The funny thing is, a nurse at the office once said that there would be a 15 month appointment with no shots, but then several shots at the 18 month appointment.
We were told to bring DD in for just a weight if we had time, but it's not an actual appointment and we didn't need an appointment to just do her weight. 18 months is the next appointment, which I don't think I have made yet.
Re: No 15 Month Appointment?
I believe there are shots too- she starts her dTap series.
I wonder if that will be it until 2 now?!
All docs are different
Sounds like it's normal, so I'm not concerned.
