Well after 2 and a half weeks of HBR on magnesium (the drug from hell) to stop PTL and constant NSTs and ultrasounds due to IUGR on baby B (colton) my little peanuts made their way into the world on 11/13/13 vaginally. Cayden William and Colton Jay are both doing super well in the NICU and are just growers and feeders at this point. It was a super short labor and delivery. Labor was 4 hours and I pushed for a total of 9 minutes with 3 minutes between the two of them and they came out screaming and crying. It went perfectly! I had no pain or tearing. Postpartum healing is so much easier the second time around thats for sure! They were on a bit of breathing assistance right away but are off all IVs and CPAP at this point. I cant wait to get my babies home so I can snuggle them!!! They are doing really well nursing but get tired fast so I am pumping around the clock and I forgot how exhausting that can be! Cayden is the one with the IVs and nasal cannula just after birth and Colton is the one with the blanket and tiny shirt on that I am holding for the first time and that was taken yesterday. The second the nurse set him in my arms I just started bawling my eyes out since he was the one from the beginning they told us would never make it since he had hardly any amniotic fluid until almost the second trimester and then was IUGR and had a slow heart rate with hardly any accelerations but here he is starring right at me with this half smile perfectly healthy and happy just really tiny! Cayden just falls asleep the second I hold him haha! Both are so content and easy going babies hopefully that lasts for a while

I can not wait to hold them at the same time!

They will be 1 week old tomorrow!!
Together 6 wonderful years.
