Or some other equally better car seat? We really liked the Snugride at BRU, but reading Baby Bargains has me doubting how safe it really is. Anyone have experience with either?
All car seats meat the same safety requirements so no seat is safer the another. As long as you have a seat properly installed in your vehicle and she is within the height and weight limits and properly restrained in the seat it just depends on what features you want.
That being said, most newborns don't fit well in the Snugride 22. I'd recommend looking at the Snugride 30 or 35 or Chicco Keyfit 30. Play with them and see what you like or don't like. (Look for tightening mechanism you can access from the front instead of the back)
The britax b safe is another high recommended seat. It fits even premies well and has long lasting limits. It's easy to use and is one of the smaller seats (space wise) front to back.

I have had both, but prefer the chaperone. I got it with a discount code and a first time ordering discount off of diapers.com. I bought it for the same price. I was going to get the snugride 35 this time around, but with the discount decided to buy the Chaperone. My fourteen month old would still fit in it, but I switched her at 1 year. I am extremely happy with my decision.
Thanks everyone! We ended up taking advantage of the Amazon sale and got the Britax B-Ready Stroller and Chaperone Carseat. Hopefully we end up loving our choices!
